I'm so glad that God doesn't need to try to figure us out. He knows who we are. And he just accepts us as we are. He then comes alongside us and helps us discover who we truly are. Without the judgment, assumptions, and conditions. And making it look like we have it all together. Because no one does.

God doesn't say we can come as we are..yes we may come broken and we can do nothing without Him but we can't go to Him holding onto our sin. If we do not come to Him in repentance He will not receive us. That is the first step so yes it is conditional. 2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. He does show us what we really are..he reveals sin in our lives so that we can repent of it and be forgiven. That is His grace. Revelations 3:1-5 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. “Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. “You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. “He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. Luke 9:23-25 Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. “For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. “For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. If we are a new creation we are no longer our old selves..we walk in newness of life by the Spirit who helps us to obey God and produce the fruit of the Spirit. We no longer live according to the flesh and its sinful desires. He will judge us..He is the Righteous Judge who judges all, both believing and unbelieving. 1 Peter 4:17-18 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?” 2 Corinthians 5:9-10 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

I depend so heavily on my husband to reassure me of who I am how pretty I am I’m good I am. I didn’t realize that was all insecure actions. I want much older women , like Laurie, cece , Christine , mama Joyce , Victoria , Stephanie , Nona , and many more. I feel that these women expect that you must just do it is a process. Those of us that still at the beginning of faith , we need to understand that it is a process. It's a battle of the mind. I hate how dismissive they are of the Toni.
