I feel like most shooting Centers hurt themselves and their teams by focusing so much on shooting 3s and spotting up. As a big man if you're not getting any offensive rebounds and making your presence felt in the paint you're letting your team down. I shoot 65% from 3 on my 7'1 by I often have games where I only shoot 2 threes or less all game

But the paint always cloughed in random rec, randoms always go in the paint

@@mafiawade2062 the center isn't cutting to the basket to get the ball and score, they're going down there to get positioning for an offensive rebound, then get a standing dunk or kick out 3 out of that. A lot of the time in random rec your teammates can't even get a good shot off or can't time their shots. The only way your team will have a chance of surviving offensively is for you to get offensive rebounds on their misses and create off of that

I was just screaming at my mic yesterday because the center stay on top of the three point line. He expected a pass but it was two to three people waiting for the pass. It erk me when I see it and I’m literally have to wait for it to register in they mind that standing on the three point isn’t the only thing you should do. Also I want to address the standing at the wing issue for most shooters on the game. I don’t know why y’all refuse to keep going as far as you can to the corner. Standing on the wing or hash or top of the three point really clogs up the three point line for the point guard or shooting guard. It infuriates me to see so much open space play after play because the center or power forward or both is trying to set a screen, then the shooting guard and small are wrapping around the ball handler constantly.

You can play without a 3-pointer I have a shooting guard with no 3-pointer at all and I averaged close to 20 points a game in the rec I have a 89 MIT range I make about 5 to 6 midrange shots a game even if it's not a 3 if you make two or three of them they have to guard you

No. Just no. Delete that build and play basketball properly and stop selling everyone you play with. Stuff like this is why the community is so awful. You are messing up driving and passing lanes for your pg every single time up the floor.

@@jameshill9579 if you are not standing in the corner or at either hash while off ball you are in the wrong spot. It’s as simple as that. You are playing an off ball position. So unless your usage rate is over 50% you are screwing over every single one of your teammates the other 50% of the time. If you have a usage rate of over 50% scoring twos you will lose every game against any team with braincells. Memphis vs Golden state proved this almost 10 years ago. In real life nba people shoot 40% and thats good. 60-70% is the normal 3 pt % of anyone with thumbs on this game. You are getting your teammates double teamed and clogging passing lanes. But you don’t care because you want to score twos and ruin and offense and spacing smh. 🤦‍♂️

I don't miss from the corner at all they just double off of me you gonna remember were taking about random not everyone's offense is going to efficient enough to offset 2's from 3's I understand golden st did it but the rec is not them.
