Check out Wikipedia -- the only tracks she's on are Sleepless Nights, Brand New Heartache and The Angels Rejoiced in Heaven Last Night. You may be hearing her version of the song mixing in your mind with Gram's. It'd be interesting to see if you could actually mix them electronically.

Derry Down in Winter Haven, FL. Place where Gram practiced with various line-ups as a kid growing up. Now the city has saved it, preserved it, rebuilt it, and turned it into a music venue. Thanks Gram, for all you gave us.

I've listened to the Stones ever since the late sixties when I was just a kid. I knew of Gram Parson's but never checked out his music before. I finally did just weeks ago and wow, how I sure missed the boat with his music! I Had no idea of the whole relationship thing he had going with Keith Richards and the Stones until now. So now, I can hear Gram all over the Stones super albums of the early 70's. You can clearly tell what a major influence he was to them!

Thanks KZbin...for the chance to go back in time...and sample the richness of country music in evolution...old age is better accepted when you see the truly gifted that left us so early in their years...and wonder what might have been. I hope Gram will be recognized one of these days. Gram was a great big growth ring on the tree of country music. What a blind spot of historical recognition which organized country music needs to correct!!

Tigers Tigers burning bright In the ballparks of the night Your pitching's fair, your field's adroit So why no pennants for Detroit? MAD Magazine, c. 1960 Parody of William Blake: “Tyger Tyger, burning bright, In the forests of the night; What immortal hand or eye, Could frame thy fearful symmetry?” Except MAD does a better job rhyming "adroit" with "Detroit" than Blake does with "eye" and "symmetry." Oh well, try, try again.
