Summer is nice and all, I get why people like it. But I think winter is probably my favorite season. There’s just something so…magic about snow, the way it falls to the ground, the way it sparkles like it has stardust in it. It’s a good excuse to make warm food, get some hot chocolate, curl up in a blanket. Cold weather brings people together.

I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me. This is in reference to a ceremony, but reflects us receiving faith by grace, being given ears to hear the lords knock. If indeed you hear it rejoice and thank God because he is seeking you for salvation. If you are a Christian but have fallen, do not fear friend it’s never more than a step back to the father, and this is done in faith. Sometimes I think, maybe He himself pushed me away and claimed me for eternity in hell, but I do not want that. I would love to fall in love with God and have that reassurance that He is mighty, holy and the only way through Jesus of course, to our salvation. But I just feel so far apart from him.

@@abigailbilbao7980 if you were ever born again dear soul I don’t believe you have been forsaken. 2 Timothy 2:13 if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself. John 6:37 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. Many more such verses exist friend. I feel distant from God a lot but I know I am his because I hate the sin that I once loved. I do not always triumph over it on a daily basis, but we are not sinless as Christians we just sin less. I cannot tell you that you have salvation friend but I can say that if you truly feel love for God in truth it is only by the spirit of God in us that this is possible. Before this we do not care to seek the will or love of the lord. My sincere advice to you is that you seek the lord in prayer and return to his word daily. The word of God gives life to the spirit in us and this helps feel the peace of Christ that the Bible says is ours in Christ Jesus. The fact that we still sin or feel distant from God is not prove that we are lost or that we have been forsaken by him. Remember dear soul he loves you so much that he gave his son to die in your place, this is no light thing for any father. Your value to God is more than than us comprehendible. The Bible says he desires all men to repent and he calls us all to do so. This means he desires a personal relationship with his creation here on earth to help guide us into eternity with him. The Bible says that our hearts are desperately wicked, I take that to mean that we cannot go by what it tells us, rather by the word of God. If my heart tells me God has forsaken me I tell my heart that God has promised to never leave me nor forsake me, That nothing in all of creation can separate me from the love of the father. I am praying for you dear soul, please know that I love you in Christ and my heart goes out to you, I feel and understand your frustration, sorrow, worry, and pain in this regard. Hi i found your video last year when i was in quite a dark time. My mum was diagnosed with cancer and i would listen to this song at late night while getting my uni work done. It calmed me down a lot. Then my mum’s condition worsened and she had trouble falling asleep. Then i played this song for her most of the nights and it helped her as well. For some reason it makes me think of my childhood. Of how badly I wanted to be a princess. I’ve read books on how one should behave and act. I remember playing piano, playing outside with my dog, enjoying the snow. It brings memories of me reading a book of how to be a princess while playing with my music box. Brings back memories of me reading fairytales for hours on end thinking how cool it would have to have this life. I really don’t know how to express it, but still. It’s bittersweet and I love it. i first clicked on this video one night when i was going to sleep, the song immediately sounded so familiar, it gave me such hard deja vu, the next day i played it the whole morning and afternoon as i worked on my computer in bed because i was sick, it was raining outside and i was home alone, thinking back that memory was so simple yet so peaceful and i was just truly happy in that moment, around that time i was dealing with bad anxiety and every night i would put this on to fall asleep to, after time my anxiety got better but i eventually forgot about this video, ive been having sleep anxiety now and a couple nights ago i found this video again and clicked on it, no ads, as soon as i heard the first note of the piano i started crying, the memories of all the nights ive cried to this song and all the nights i listened to this song with a smile on my face came back, i realized how much ive grown and changed in almost a year, something about this song is so comforting yet almost nostalgic, like a mothers arms, this video will always have a special place in my heart ❤

Anyone else listen to these types of videos and imagine yourself in a city, walking through the empty snow covered streets, with those old fashioned London style street lamps that give off a cool yellow toned glow. Then you walk into a hotel and your greeted with the scent of cinnamon and hot chocolate. The furniture is fancy and the lobby is huge. It’s decorated with winter and Christmas decorations. You get a room keycard and take the elevator up as you listen to a music box version of a Christmas song. You get to the 10th floor to find your room. As you enter, it’s nice and warm. The sheets are clean, the curtains are beige. The smooth marble counter in the small little kitchen. The first thing you do is make a warm cup of coffee, decaf of course. You pour cream into the cup and watch as it swirls. You go to the curtain and open it slightly. You see there is a balcony, so you open the door. It’s cold outside. As the day ends, the stars in the sky start to shine at its peak. City lights are kept on. And it’s still snowing. You take one giant deep breath, and forget everything that ever bothered you. It was as if it never existed. Or is that just me?

지금 새벽3시.. 진짜 새벽감성이란게 이런건가봐요. 지금 여기는 비가 조금 내린 터라 창문 사이로 시원한 바람이 들어오네요. 밖은 캄캄하고 또 조용한데, 여기에 잔잔한 배경음악까지 깔리니 꼭 어린시절 보던 애니메이션의, 밤중에 창문 밖을 보며 우수에 차오르던 여주인공이 된 것 같은 기분이예요. 10대 때 우여곡절이 많은 시기를 보냈던지라 20대에 다른 지금도 하루를 바쁘게 보내고 있는데, 온전한 제 시간인 이 새벽을 그냥 흘러가게 내버려두기엔 너무 아쉬워 잠에도 들지못하고 가만히 비오는 소리만을 듣고 있었답니다. 그런데 어쩌다 우연히 이렇게 좋은 음악을 발견하게되어 너무 기뻐요. 저의 하루를 포근하게 만들어주셔서 감사합니다. 몇시간 후면 다시 하루를 시작할 준비를 해야겠죠. 저는 얼마 남지 않은 이 새벽 시간을 좀더 느끼다.. 그러다 잠에 들렵니다. 지금까지 깨어계신 분들이 있다면 좋은 꿈 꾸시고 다시 맞이하게될 오늘 하루도 즐거운 날이 되시길 바래요.

i always find myself coming back to this video when i cant sleep, it provides me with such a familiarity sense and it always helps me go to sleep. whenever i listen to this i imagine my self in the future gazing from a balcony on a terrace in paris at night looking below me and seeing people and the Eiffel tower lit up. its so beautiful and this video just reminds me of home. to who ever finds this video i hope that you too will find clarity and comfort within life and know that no matter what, everything will be okay

I just broke up with my girlfriend today. She was my first love, I used to think we meant to be soulmates and I thought we could be together forever, even though i know its seem like a fantasy. She gradually doesn't love me anymore, she also has her own mental illness. She realizes that she isnt ready to love as she thought. That's why, when we were together, she hurt me a lot, may be its just unintentional. So today I break up with her, so we could go on with our own lives. She apologized to me a lot, and she also confessed that she rushed to confess to me when she wasn't ready. I know I'll be fine, I'll get through this, but right now, watching this video and listening to the background music, I'm starting to cry. Cry for the beautiful memories we had. I don't regret loving her, I'm just sad that we ended up like this. This is really my safe place. Enjoying music and reading all the wholesome comments have helped me get through a lot of difficult times. I just hope you, who are reading this, could get the happiness you deserve. (english is not my first language, please ignore those mistakes)

늘 날이 추워지면 문득 나의 아픈시절이 생각나 가슴이 아렸다. 날이 추웠어도 어린 나는 집에 가기 싫어 집 주변을 한 두시간 걸으며, 많은 걸 눈에 새겼다 나만 아는 골목길도 겨울날 눈 쌓여있는 놀이터도 엘리베이터 지하 안쪽 꼭꼭 숨어있던 어미고양이와 아기고양이들 아직도 그때의 그 새벽 공기가 기억속에 남아있다. 나에게는 너무 아픈 추억이라 그때의 냄새가 지독히 싫었다. 포근하지만 차갑고 시려웠던 그 시절 냄새가, 나는 아마 사랑이 받고싶었던걸지도 모르겠다 이 아픔이 지나 얼른 내게도 새로운 사랑이 왔으면 좋겠다 덜컥 겁먹어 누군가와는 더이상 깊어지기 싫었던 나를 달래주며 이젠 겁먹지않아도 된다고 나도 누군가에게 충분히 사랑받을 수 있는 존재이며 나 또한 누군가에게 충분히 사랑을 줄 수 있는 존재라고, 내년의 나는 보다 더 빛나는 사람이 되어있으면 좋겠다 많이 힘들었지만 올해도 잘 버텨줘서 고마워
