So pretty! In fluorescent lighting it’s such a beautiful dusty lavender color, and in the natural sunlight it’s kinda like a purple based whitish/silver. I’m in love with that shadow root color! As to people and their negative comments.. it’s YOUR hair..do what makes YOU happy. Their nastiness says a whole lot more about them and the state of their lives than it says about you! Long time viewer, first (or second?) time commenter. I just wanted to send you some love. You have inspired me so much to be myself and have selfishlessly taught me so much about how to do my own hair. I change my hair constantly and for the most part people have been nice or supportive, but every now and again I come across someone who needs to put in their negative two cents and it's beyond unpleasant. I thought it was weird when I was in school and classmates would bully me about my hair or the way I was dressed and now that i'm in my late 20s it's like....okay, what is the reason to go up to someone who is not harming you in any way shape or form and give some comment about their personal style choices. I grew out all the bleached lengths of my hair during the first lockdown here, and cut it all off about a year later. My hair has been completely natural since then. I've always loved watching your hair videos as you are so daring and bold with your hair colours and dye jobs. I loved watching you grow out your roots as I had been there and loved seeing your process BUT I was also SO STOKED to see you bleach it again. That's the best thing about your hair, its YOUR HAIR. Honestly going through your life being kind just to see/receive hatefulness and anger from everyone around you really does make you slowly want to stop being that caring loving person you once were. I know EXACTLY how you feel, I've gone my whole life being nice to everyone (including those who bullied me for years) that now I'm a solid wall and only have emotions around those really close to me. You can only be nice for so long before it breaks you, and I'm broken.
