Don't you glue your tyres to the rims? We glue ours so that the tyre won’t come off the rim when running the car. Or am I not understanding it correctly?

He means glue the sidewalls, the tyres are already glued to the rim yes

My how the times have changed. Fast forward to now and gluing sidewalls is considered mandatory.
