A simple fix for a drooping boom arm is to wrap a velcro strip around the TWO parallel arm bars. The band prevents the bars from moving and holds the arm in place.

idk if I am missing a piece but when I drop the Boom arm into the base IT DOES NOT STOP ROTATING

he forgot to mention that the arm doesn't attach to the base of the clamp at all. its sitting there freely; so you need to do is lift it up and the arm comes off.

Curious... watching some of your older tutorials, I see that you've now switched to Logic from Pro Tools? What were the deciding factors in that switch?

I never switched. I’ve used both of them concurrently for over 10 years. I prefer Logic but if you do any recording work at a pro studio, they will most likely have Pro Tools, so learning both is helpful. Actually my Logic tutorials came first, then I did some PT tutorials, but I stopped making them because they weren’t that popular.

@@MusicTechHelpGuy I see, my mistake. I'm currently in that area in my life, "should I make the switch from PT", for different reasons. Thanks for chiming in!

Return it. Especially if you got it on Amazon. They’ll take it back even without the box.

I was all set to get this one, it looks similar to the to or Kennis Russell bought, but couldn’t support their price increase from like $24 to $40

I was about to pull the trigger in the buy of one Tonor T20 and just had saw about the behavior with lightweight mics. 💔💔💔 As I own a ATR-2100x USB which has only 268gr/9.5oz I guess this boom arm might behave like this one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nJS9lJ2qgL57pqc
