Parker only has till midnight to finish mining the land he has a claim for and the only way to make the deadline is to dump the dirt on Tony's land. Will the newly found truce keep Tony from putting a stop to this plan?

They are held to the same standard. They do luck out, as they never dig all that deep, and the forest is ready to make everything normal, rather soon. They don't use explosives, poisons. Nothing stops Mother Nature from soon taking over. Their big issue is keeping the streams clear for spawning fish and reshaping the topsoil to imitate all surrounding terrain.

The land will be fine. Nothing they are doing is more than pushing dirt around. They don't use explosives nor poisons. When the season's over, they will bring the soil back into shape. It's usually the case that the wildlife is in MUCH better shape than before. Varmits LOVE fallen trees to hide and breed amongst. Owls, hawks simply HAVE TO HAVE open ground to feed themselves. A mature forest looks pretty -- and is pretty sterile.

Tony & Parker would be better off with a K-Tec scraper -- or its competitors. ( Such scrapers cut your manning in HALF. They load themselves. Further, they perfectly mate with peeling off SLUSH early in the Spring. You want permafrost removed as SLUSH every time. You don't want to deal with it totally frozen like a rock nor runny as mud. Yet, what do you see, show after show? Permafrost or mud. Cute, no?

In the US and Canada the mining permit requires the land to be restored.
@davidhimmelsbach557
@davidhimmelsbach557 2 ай бұрын
Tree growth is so intense up there that there is actually no need to plant them. All that is required is land restoration. Before you know it, you'll have new growth just all over. That green forest you see in the background -- was at one time cut all the way to the ground.

@Wayne Flanigan once stripped, it's never the same and the reclamation in most cases is half-assed. When the company goes broke, which they all do eventually, the state or feds have to take care of it on taxpayer dime.
