Mad respect for Tony. He could win elections, a skill that today's Labour Party lacks.

A man widely detested in the UK as a liar and a war criminal if comments in the media are anything to go by. Whatever he is, he is an agent for the NWO and as such is an enemy of liberty.

For at least 12 years I've read the news and comments in the US, UK and France. From the comments I've wondered who the British and French blame for their problems especially with regard to immigration. In France there seems to be no one person. In Britain however it's virtually unanimous. Tony Blair is the name I've seen many times.

Yes because of the lack of using the opt out for immigration for the then new EU countries in 2004. They incorrectly believed migration would be well lower than what it was. However, its worth noting that migration today after leaving the EU was higher than it was under New Labour or the Cameron years

People who argue about Blair's legacy should also include peace in Northern Ireland, a national minimum wage, national employment rights and greatly expanded gay rights amongst other things. Iraq was a big mistake but he's been a great PM.

Ben Bigelow: I agree. Tony Blair was a great British PM. But the anti-war far left in Britain will NEVER get over the Iraq war or be completely satisfied until they see Blair tried for his "alleged" war crimes which will NEVER happen. You just can't have a civil debate with people on the far left because they can't tolerate dissenting opinions. Such a shame.

Agreed. (Although I an American voter). Yet, the Iraqi War (be yea for or against it) killed the Blair electoral coalition.

The best reason yet for totally defunding universities, sacking all tutors without pension and starting again with national establishments. Private or corporate funding of teaching establishments needs to be made a criminal offence. Blair needs to be handed over to the people of Iraq giving them freedom to do with him as they wish.
