Great interview! I was lucky enough to see De Vit play, he is a proper legend! I still love his music today. Respect to Fergie too, his sets at the TDV tribute nights at Sundissential were top notch.

Last time I saw Fergie was at Tradeeons ago. I can't believe how grown up he is! Tony was the real thing. A true legend on the decks and on vinyl. His tunes can still make the dancefloor smoke.

Those who know know Tony De Vit was incredible All the trade DJs were fantastic at what they did and they all sounded different so you would hear nu beat, techno, old school rave, house, acid, hard trance,Belgian techno, hard german techno and eventually hard house Was a wicked club Props to Trevor Rockcliffe too

Yeah I seen him in Killwater House Hotel in Northern Ireland in the 90s. When I turned 17 years old I used to make good money taxiing drug dealers too and from the hotel. Some characters went to that place it was all controlled by Loyalist paramilitaries.

I don't know about the greatest DJ of all time but when it came to the clubbing scene (House/Hard House/trance) then Tony De Vit was the Godfather of it. I think Tony shaped house music and hard house.. I think people like Judge Jules and Pete Tong have destroyed it.
