I was there that night was a cracking set I went to all the time flies nights in Cardiff in the 90’s my favourite ever one was in the old Astoria where tony de vit played an amazing banging set at the easter thumper great memories and nights out thanks to the time flies crew

I went to every one mate, brilliant nights, how the hell the town hall managed to get a licence to this day is beyond me 😂 you Remember when the fire alarm went off and everyone went outside and 20 minutes later,. The DJ dropped the track and everyone went running back Inside? 😂 Can't remember what DJ though, quality venue for it to be held, spice of life events were decent aswell in the students Union? Tony de vit was one the best DJs ever, a pioneer, original, only van dyk and a few others come close to him, I don't rate Tiësto any of those around these days either.

He used to start his sets with tracks around 130bpm and then gradually build up to the quicker stuff. This is from 1994 though, his sets from 1996 onwards were generally faster.
