Dr. Carla Crummie is not a divorcee but a widow. Her husband died the same year as Lois. It seems like she and husband had a solid relationship and her husband was a minister too.

Wow, so many sordid insinuations about this newly engaged couple. It's pretty disgusting on your part. You can discuss how to enter into relationships after losing a spouse without negative speculation about this couple. They are definitely free to marry. My view I noticed the Extremely sad 😢 faces of Mr Evans children. Tony Evans said Carla and her husband were on the way to Lois's funeral. I think he died Jan 2, (they must have been driving) His wife's service was Jan 6. Mr. Evans was talking way too much for me. I wonder where her happy son and daughter were. His children could possibly be disappointed about the age difference.

I’ve followed Dr. Evans ministry for a while, and I like his Biblical based teaching. That said: I appreciate how you kept it real in this podcast. Too many times, Christians are scared to keep it real with their feelings, so they patty cake. Now, I don’t know the intricacies of how they got together (only bits & pieces from what others say, and was revealed in the announcement), but to me…she may have shady intentions, she may not..who knows? Only time will tell. It seems to me she honors Mrs. Evans legacy, but at the same time..she gives off opportunistic vibes.

Ive listened to Dr Evans for many years. Im on the fence with this too.... not because its wrong.... but I wonder if he is READY. 40 yrs with someone, and just remarry just after 4yrs... even the way he introduced and spoke on his late wife, he sounds like he is still very freshly grieving. If he was remarrying in his 50s or 60s... but in his 70s, idk.... anyhow I wish him the best. One of the very VERY few with no scandal or shame to his name. That new wife better be prepared -- many will not be so accepting...

Nothing wrong with their union! Dr. Evans and Dr. Crummie are both widowed. I am a long time supporter of Dr. Evans. People didn't say much when Noel Jones married his long time live in girlfriend after 20+ yrs! But folk want to give scrutiny to this!!? The hypocrisy is at an all time high!

I’m from Dallas ,Tx and know of Dr. Tony Evans, I don’t keep up with his ministry, but I know that he’s well respected. This is somewhat questionable to me as well… I truly believe that he’s still grieving and very vulnerable. I know that in a situation like this everyone couldn’t be happy( his children, family , friends and church family) Me personally and in my opinion, it’s not about it being right or wrong, I just don’t believe he should remarry… When you build a legacy such as he and his late wife has, you just have to ride it out. It’s no time to allow your good to be spoken evil of. I will continue to pray for him and his family for healing ❤️🙏🏽
