Pray God leads you to the purpose he had for you, and equip you to share the message of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I as a child was raised up in a church with quite a few older believers who didn't necessarily go out and witness tounbelievers, when I became older God lead me to minsitry that went out to minister his word to tye lost and I learned how to interact and communicate better the gift of Jesus Christ. Its not easy, and it takes time but as long as you are sincere foe Hod to use you it will happen.

I’m an ex-over the road/now local freight truck driver. For people that aren’t aware, the trucking industry is so full of animosity, anger, jealousy, corporate greed, deep deep seated bitterness, ruthless competitive egos, self-reliance abounding, cold hearts, blame gaming, political pride, frustrations, you name it. I have been a truck driver for over 20 years all the while whilst while living a prodigal life of coping mechanisms dealing with the chronic physical pain I have been living with for over 25 years and the adjacent emotional pains that follow, my own frustrations with the world, etc. It is ONLY because of our Lord Jesus, that I am being broken free from all the years of coping mechanisms and bitterness toward myself. I pray that I can be an effective and bold witness of the Good News, in the remaining time that I have. That I can be delivered from and will no longer be enslaved to the timidness and shame, that I allowed to cloud my life for years and years. Thank you for letting me, confess here! 1) If Jesus is only salvation, then God is unfair, because Americas, South Africa, Far East, North Europe, Oceania were kept in dark, never heard about Jesus for 1500 years. 2) If people can be saved without Jesus, then Bible is unnecessary. 3) If Bible is necessary to make people better beings and increase their chance of heaven, then God is again unfair for providing such book to some and not to others.

This is not the gospel. Tony Evans is a false teacher. It's false , conditioned on man , potential and universal(no mention of election).The true gospel is the good news of the Person & work of the Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, it is concerning who Christ is and what He did to save His elect only. The gospel includes the how and why, which can only be seen by faith. It is a message that declares how the eternal Son of God came down, took on a body of sinless flesh (John 1:14) as He was born of a virgin (Mat 1:23). He was both God & man in one Person. He was born under the Law to keep and fulfill it (Mat 5:18, Gal 4:4). He did that, not for Himself, but for all those He represented because they could not keep it themselves. The word of God calls these people the elect or His sheep, among several other names. His obedient life also included the part of dying. He took on the sin of His people as both a Substitute and Representative of those people. The Bible said He was "made to be sin" (II Cor 5:21) and the way that was done is by God imputing (legally reckoned or charged to the account of) sin to Christ. That means all the sin of all those people God chose was "laid on Him" (Isaiah 53:6). This sin was legally transferred to His account and He then owned it in such a way to be guilty of it all. God the Father poured out His wrath and hatred toward sin on His Son and had pleasure (Isaiah 53:10) in doing so, in that, He was completely satisfied in Christ as a Sacrifice that met all the demands of His strict Law and inflexible justice. Christ finished the work of paying the penalty of the Law and then said " It is finished" (John 19:30). He secured salvation for all God’s chosen people that would even be born. His resurrection is evidence of the acceptance of His sacrifice to the Father. The combined work of His obedience to the Law &His obedience unto death on the cross was considered establishing righteousness. This is what one of the Old Testament prophets prophesied as "bringing in an everlasting righteousness" (Daniel 9:24) as Christ died effectually and exclusively for those chosen of God before the world began (Eph 1:4). This righteousness is what God imputes to His people in the context of giving the life to believe in Christ. This puts them in a state called justification.

I'm in the middle of witnessing to a "stranger" on KZbin. She's 82 and doesn't believe in God. It seems like it was Adrian Rogers who said this. I can't remember, but seems like it was him. He told someone, who didn't believe, to go home and read all the book of the gospel of John. They did and God opened their eyes and they got saved, from reading John. Part of me wants to tell this lady to read the gospel of John. Don't know if it will help or what, but what are your thoughts on that? Think it's a good idea to tell her to read John? Is that a good book for something like that? I'm asking you because of what you said in your comment.

Jesus said the Jewish Scripture cannot be BROKEN (John 10:35). The New Testament goes against the teachings of the Jewish Scripture and Jesus himself. Jesus NEVER preaches a single sermon to the multitudes of the Jewish people telling them he will die for their sins. Jesus believed SALVATION comes from the Jews (John 4:22). The Jewish Scripture teaches to cleanse and purify yourself from your sins by your GOOD-DEEDS (Isaiah 1:16-18). You can EARN your salvation by your works (good deeds). Please bear in mind God does NOT CHANGE His mind (Numbers 23:19).

Lead them to Isaiah 43:10-11, 44:6, 45:21-22. That there are no other gods. Mormons believe that if they are good enough, they could become gods of their own planet. They also believe that Jesus was created by God. John 1:1,14 says Jesus is God. If we put our faith in Jesus, then I want to make sure I have the right Jesus.

For the last 3 days I've been trying to share the gospel of Christ Jesus with hardcore proud Atheists. Tears coming down right now. Pastor Tony, I feel nothing I've said to all of them has worked. It's seeds thrown on rough dry ground. They refuse and deny with arrogance while casting insults at me. My heart breaks because of what is going to come at them when the time comes to face eternity in hell with pain and regret for rejecting God's opportunities of salvation in His Son Christ Jesus. Sinner's prayer is beautifully said but it is a lie and unbiblical. It is made up for 2 centuries old and bring no salvation. Nobody in the bible pray sinner's prayer. The true gospel will bring people to repentance, baptism of water for forgiveness of sin, and receiving Holy Spirit and make them a disciple to bear fruits for the Kingdom of God. Preaching gospel without making disciples is really unbiblical.

As I was looking at the picturesque background of that particular location, I noticed all of those beautiful trees on the property. And this came to mind. When you look at a tree, think of Calvary. All through the book of Acts REPENTANCE is preached AS WELL and stated to BE PREACHED as a part of the Gospel....yes , praise GOD for his wonderful FREE GIFT, but SAVING faith requires a REPENTANT heart, it doesn't play out in sinless perfection but there's a genuine change of the heart and mind towards sin to forsake it......it's part of the Gospel "package" if you will, it doesn't earn us our Salvation, Christ's perfect atonement did that.
