He never even got to fight khabib cause twice he pulled out…wasn’t his interim rendered useless because 3 times he couldn’t fight for the belt? He faced Justin on short notice when he shouldn’t have because he didn’t train for him and was depleted from cutting weight twice that week. He may have had mental issues to begin with but he won TUF and traveled a hard road in UFC and because he wasnt a fan draw or good on the mic he wasn’t promoted by the ufc or paid more the way a mcgregor was- who came in AFTER tony yet made more money and conor made a management company and media press company (Engage, and Mac-Life) that make money off of other UFC fighters….Tony feels disrespected as a Vet- same how Nate Diaz feels…

A weird trend in the weights of fighters after allegations of the scales being off by 0.5 pounds. Charles Oliveira 155.5 Tony Ferguson 155.5 Donald Cerrone 155.5 Joe Lauzon 155.5 Shogun Rua 205.5 Francisco Trinaldo 170.5 Danny Roberts 170.5 Randy Brown 170.5 Macy Chiasson 145.5 Norma Dumont 146.5 (missed weight claimed faulty scale) Brandon Royval 125.5 Matt Schnell 125.5 Blagoi Ivanov 253.5 Marcos Rogerio de Lima 258.5 Tracy Cortez 125.5 Andre Fialho 170.5 Ariane Carnelossi 115.5 Journey Newson 135.5 Fernie Garcia 135.5 Kleydson Rodrigues 125.5 CJ Vergara 126 (made weight after initally missing by .5 pounds) Not a single fighter under weight. ? Multiple fighters claiming faulty scales? Oliveira's weight not changing after looking more drained?

It's been years since Tony took anyone down. Barboza was the last time I think and that was off a scramble, so I think Tony's best chance would be a standing darce or to capitalize if Chandler shoots/ takes him down.
