@@rvfharrier Elton could discount QQ and JJ a fair bit because of Tony's 4-bet, and the 4-bet sizing. KK or the other combo of AA are most likely what he's up against. QQ is pretty much the only stronger holding that Tsang himself is even moderately likely to have, hence the snap call.

@@Dman40000 Dumb reply? Then you don’t understand betting strategy in poker. Yes, Tony got coolered but Elton flatting Tony’s 4-bet pre (instead of going all in, like 80% of players would) and his small sizing on the flop enabled him to get max value. Tony jamming the flop was -EV (lots of, QQ, and JJ in Elton’s range) and many good players use enticement bets of similar sizing to elicit raises from their opponents. You get it now?

@@michaelg4664 if you fold kings there correctly every time then you are a world class pro , instead you're here sharting up the comment section. Tony didn't get outplayed in such a way that it would tilt him that hard, he was tilted at the cooler and that's it
@michaelg4664Ай бұрын
@@Dman40000 Does the 'D' in your name stand for dumb? Nobody talked about folding kings in that spot, but going all in isn't the best play since you're likely only getting called by a better hand or possibly AQ (but is Elton check raising AQ out of position and then calling a 4-bet with that preflop)?
