As a lifetime boxing fan and an Australian I was obviously hoping for a decisive Tim Tszyu victory. Personally and honestly I was saddened to see Tony Harrison leave the sport he passionately loved like he did was to me quite sad. I wish him good fortune in retirement and best wishes.

Dude, with all due respect Tim had the first rounds, so Tony was outdone there no age deal..He's a TSZUE, a bit more work to go yet but not far off his old man's level....Hopefully Tim will seek Tony out before the main event as his team said..Keeping it real Tony is a way better man than Charlo %100 and was a worthy champ through and through and did boxing a fine service..

Agreed. Tony Harrison should call it a day and move on to whatever is next in life. It's a combination of aging and wear from being hit. Against Tszyu he was too hesitant and slow to respond, and he couldn't put anything together that would have made it more competitive. Wishing him the best.

I was thinking the same thing but Harrison had his left hand down a lot. He was getting hit with looping shots to the temple. Maybe if he had put up his block phone booth style he would of done better. He wasn't active enough either. He hypnotize with the jab but didn't let the right go.

Even khabib retired in his early thirties. The body needs time to heal and with all the rigorous training and fighting Tony subjected himself to it is for the best to take some time off and eventually retire. Being the avid chess player Tony Harrison is I’m sure he would rather remember his chess skills and scholarly accomplishments than to experience CTE from his passion that is boxing.
