The floodgates opened. Then came Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Captain Beyond, Jimi Hendrix, Spirit, Ten Years After, Alice Cooper, Cream, Mountain, Wishbone Ash..... Tony and Sabbath started me down a path I'm still on 50 years later.

1:15 to 1:37 is the epitome of a perfect rhythm and another song unto itself. Tony is the master of developing a rhythm through progressively faster and varied riffs.. it is the characteristic Sabbath song recipe.. build, build, build, vary the tempo.. vary the tempo some more and change the riff (slightly), then change it some more and let the other musicians fill into the void around the rhythm. He's been a master of this reality for decades. Nearly perfect song writing after forever and ever

This is fire. A pure instrumental album from him would be the best thing. No more singers to affect the message he wants his songs to convey through feeling. Love me some Ozzy. But damn, this is what I really want to hear.

LOVE IT!! I was 13 when I 1st heard Black Sabbath, followed them all the way, saw them with in concert twice, was there in Brum at the penultimate The End gig and I am still rocking out to this legend now at 61! Thank you Maestro Iommi for the music, life would have been SO dull without it.

Who would love see an Iommi solo tour since he’s in remission? Can you imagine him playing all eras plus his stellar solo riffs? It would be so sick.

Reminds me of songs from the Black Sabbath album "13", especially from the middle of the album. But the solo gives the song also Seventh Star Vibes
