Fifty years ago this month, a friend came over to my house (Mom's basement) with 2 records. He said "Here, listen to these". Those 2 records were Black Sabbath and Paranoid. YIKES! The floodgates opened. Then came Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Captain Beyond, Jimi Hendrix, Spirit, Ten Years After, Alice Cooper, Cream, Mountain, Wishbone Ash..... Tony and Sabbath started me down a path I'm still on 50 years later.

1:15 to 1:37 is the epitome of a perfect rhythm and another song unto itself. Tony is the master of developing a rhythm through progressively faster and varied riffs.. it is the characteristic Sabbath song recipe.. build, build, build, vary the tempo.. vary the tempo some more and change the riff (slightly), then change it some more and let the other musicians fill into the void around the rhythm. He's been a master of this reality for decades. Nearly perfect song writing after forever and ever

The only downside to this....I wish there was more! Fantastic and showing the youngsters how its done. Great less is more feel especially on the solo without out all of the over the top effects and speed for speeds sake. Still got the feel and tone in the pentatonics...gosh..want to pick up my guitar and play now, but have to start working. Great stuff Mr Iommi! (major influence on me)

Major influence on me as well, his riffs are so timeless and perfect. He pushed me to incorporate heavy riffs in my playing. Him, Page and Blackmore are my all-time guitar heroes, among others. Iommi was never a shredder but his playing sounded so huge and evil, i was a fan instantly

Ash(Drummer) 'stole' my prosthetic leg at the Glenn Hughes show in Birmingham back in 2019. All of The Dead Sea Skulls signed that leg already except for Ash. One of the coolest video campaigns I’ve seen. It’s really interesting that it’s promoting a fragrance, but the song and video are a thing of their own. I like the composition too, great riffs as always.

If Tony releases it, I will buy it. The sound of Tony's guitar just makes me feel good. His sound is just....right, perfect. I'm so excited to get this on tape, vinyl, cd.....whatever. This just soothes my soul.

Reminds me of songs from the Black Sabbath album "13", especially from the middle of the album. But the solo gives the song also Seventh Star Vibes
