@@joen.8668 Fighting in a ring and being a Muay Thai Master are not the same thing. Tony started training at age 10 in Thailand and was a martial artist long before he got into acting. Cross training into stunt work and other marital arts gives him a greater skill set, not less.

@@Wertbag99 He practiced martial arts just for the sake of acting. His idol is Jackie Chan. He dreamed to be Thai version of Jackie Chan since he was just a young boy. That's why he practiced Muay Thai and other martial art skills. By the way, I'm from Thailand. When we, Thai people, say Muay Thai masters, we always refer to Muay Thai teachers who train professional athletes. Tony Jaa is not one of them.

Muay Thai? Wow that just the following martial art that Thai used but those was Kun Khmer Boran (Old ancient martial art of Khmer) which call Kun Lboxator since Khmer Empire collaped and spread in Thai or Siam in the past. They just changed the original name to Muay Thai lately to own this amazing martial art only. but the truth was from Khmer since 9th century kid

I can say these pepople just left China and arrived in Khmer Empire during Mogolian invaded China and ruled for hundried of year only. Does Siam has your own culture, of course but not look like to today. They lool alike China than Khmer but why? Siam gave up their origin of their own culture and choose Khmer's culture insted. if i'm not mistaken, the art that tony jaa use is muay boran.the ancestor of muay thai.used by the royal elite guard of siam king in the ancient time.this was the art that they used in war or defending the royal blood of thais.much more deadly than muay thai. muay thai origin from muay boran, for combat sports or street fight.

Most powerful martial art form demonstrated. Looks like no other discipline. It looks alien. Power, grace, and art all together. I ignorantly underestimated Muy Thai. I thought it was a simple form emphasizing brute power, mostly kicking with some punching. This master is like a bloomed dandelion flower. His spirit is awesome.
