I've never understood the sense of having weigh ins more than an hour or so before competition. The same people will still kill themselves to cut weight, but they have less opportunity to recover. Why give someone a day or so to regain a load of weight? Kitowski missed weight for the Harris match last year. He should have been replaced with someone else inside the weight class. Instead, they let him have a non title match & take the winnings. Where was the sense in that?

Yea letting them bulk back up so easily makes them far heavier in actual competition. I think that's dodgy. But them I also don't think it's cool to give Sam a new opponent at the somewhat last moment. They train with a specific opponent in mind, and strategise around that, etc. So, still doing the match, but not for the title, I think is the best thing they could offer. Also gotta pay Sam for the time, otherwise there's not much reason for Sam to do it, since he retains the title either way, and is risking losing to a bigger guy, which potentially brings his stock down a bit.

@@andrewp.9541 No.... I know Craig. His prime was 2000-2003 and he started Armwrestling around 1991. He's a stand up guy who would rather lose than juice and harm his health. Doesn't even do gym training, only table time.

You can load up your back pressure before the go, but you can't move their hand towards you before the go (it's a sneaky thing to watch out for just before the go).

​ Its very obvious with some guys but I would never think of steroids looking at Matt Mask/Devon/Todd etc. The guys that are naturally big with a massive frame aren't suspicious but the somewhat shorter guys that are bulked up and vascular to a extreme extent are a different story. I'd like to see the sport under USADA control and see whos really the best

Why there's no new WAL competition or usa vs brazil or russia it's like 7 month i did not see mat mask( last time was against an italian if i remember right where he lost the 2 first and than became a lion lol ) or devon against famous armwrestler ..Sorry if you think that comment stupid it's just that i really enjoy it and i don't understand why it takes so long ..In ufc we had like 1 or 2 event /month for example
