The more I listen to Tony the more impressed I get. Very few guys in the industry can relate or speak in terms of small properties. Good stuff

Tony and eberhart are 2 best in industry. I ordered 150 willows and 400ft of fencing to break up my fields. You did a fantastic interview.

I’ve been a habitat nut for 15 years and Tony is the best. He needs to hire a marketing guy and he would grow his income far past his bootcamps. U are only hiding secrets from the 10%ers, deer nuts will pay for ure knowledge and you will make more money.

If Tony can actually hold that many deer and manipulate the deer that much on such a small piece then the neighbors property must really be lousy or get a lot of pressure. Other wise I just can't see it. If things like wind tunnels exist why do mature deer not take advantage of it like a thermal hub? Why not have thick native habitat that other species can use instead of a nasty invasive that absolutely takes over. The only advantage I can see is it chokes out food and they have to come out of it to eat like they would switchgrass. Not to mention it would never carry a fire once established. I also can't imagine being able to create a bed that a deer will actually use. When I hear people say this it makes me think they are nuts lol. No offense but just what I think. Maybe some places deer are different. Kinda like western coyote hunters claim eastern coyotes are the same and no harder to kill. Oh okay.... Lotsa good info here like access but he has some ideas that crack me up.

I went to his boot camp. I know it seems hard to believe but his ideas really do work. I've seen all his man made deer beds, and they all had deer hair in them. He has the right to sound a little arrogant, he really knows what he's talking about.

I get what you are saying. A little humility goes a long way. I sense some frustration in these interviews and I guess rightfully so. If you genuinely came up with an idea and now there are hundreds of “EXPERTS “ preaching what you came up with it must be frustrating. When I started bear baiting in Maine 28 yrs ago no one could keep raccoons out of bear bait. People tried spring loaded lids greasing barrels and such but once a bear came the food was a free for all. I decided to hang aircraft cable between two trees 20 feet apart and hang my 55 gallon drum horizontally, 5 feet off the ground. This kept the coons out and even some small bears. I shot a monster and wrote an article for bear hunter magazine. Now everyone in my area baits like that and when I tell them where that came from they say, “No, my [dad, brother, uncle] showed me that”. It’s annoying and that’s not how I make a living. I think he is a victim of the times, and not being a social media person he has fallen behind a lot of big name people. Again, he could be more humble about stuff like his property is the best in America, but I get the frustration.
