This show is just amazing, I wanted to cry when it was over, Tim Riggins is awesome, this show might have taken the #1 spot over Breaking bad, It was amazing, when I first started to watch it, I was like, "This'll prob just be some shitty spin-off of the movie" I'm sorry. Thus show made me want to quit wrestling and join the football team, to bad I suck at football. Watching this made me think about life in general, and it's incredible when a show can do that. I'm from Britain. And don't fully understand American Football. But I absolutely adore this show. It's touches on a range of topics (alienation in a small secluded town, racism, family, kinship, loyalty and even faith). And it does so with such charm and sophistication that to describe it as a 'highschool football show' is absurd. Instant classic.

Halfway done my 10th grade season. I love football and never want highschool to be done, when i was younger i dreamed of being that popular football player with 1000 freinds and good times every weekend. I love my life. And i love highschool, and im gonna miss every one of my 12th grade teammates when we finish this season, hopefully champions. And they go on and graduate. I was going through a very very horrific time in my life when this series began. From the first episode when Jason Street was injured and coach gave the pep talk to the team about we will all be tested I was hooked because I was being tested through the worse storm and evil a human could go through ever. I watched all five seasons never wanting them to end. I cried the last episode when Julie got engaged to Matt. So many human morals values and integrity in this show as the characters and there life’s unfold . So beautifully done and well written and great cast. I have watched it numerous times the entire 5 seasons…

As you get to the end, you can kinda see some more major flaws with Jason than other male characters. For one thing, he tries so hard to get through his accident and rebuild his life and adjust, but at times you can really see how he goes at it the wrong way. He shreds Herc and the other guys on the team and is frustrated he wasn't picked to go to Beijing, which wasn't very appropriate. I see what you're saying, I mean he's inspiring when you see someone have their entire life turned upside down, but sometimes his attitude and actions really don't help.

there is not nearly enough appreciation for the character of tyra like I feel her character is probably one of the most underated characters in the history of tv. seriously I don't think many people realize how freaking awesome she was,love riggings but having him end up with tyra was a complete and utter joke, he's character is hands down one of the best 'bad boy charectarisations ever made, and I get all the hhype around his character but when he's with tyra he just stains her character so much, makes her 'one dimensional. that was the biy far one of the biggest mistakes this series ever made,her relationship with landry used to automaticaly make me smile, it was so efforlessly right, i think i'm the only one that like them together as a couple,but o gosh, they were so right, and the way their storyline ended was so wrong,still love this show, and think that it is what every teenage drama nowdays should aspire to be like, it's just thorougly emotional in a way that doesn't feel contrived, and the relationships within this show were just pure and sheer gold, this will forever be in my heart, and this song reminds me of the last scene in season one which is in my opionion, the single best scene, that this show has ever produced,and that is saying something. CLEAR EYES FULL HEARTS CAN'T LOSE!!!!!

+Chusie Briceno I couldn't agree more. Tyra was my favorite teen character, and as much as I love this show, I couldn't believe the amount of retconning they did to her character in the last two episodes (or even season 4 when she stood Landry up and completely ignored his calls) to erase any growth her character had in the first 3 seasons. I didn't really expect their romantic relationship to last, but the notion that she would blow off their friendship is hard for me to believe. And suddenly she's been in love with Riggins since she was five? I feel that they screwed Landry over in the finale, too, when they only gave him that one scene with Matt. If I were Adrianne or Jesse, I wouldn't have come back for that. It's too bad because like you said the rest of the series was so brilliant.

I agree on tyra but Tim wasnt what I would call a bad boy I mean, a bad boy it's more usually like a squad of idiots annoying all around, Tim was just a lonely guy who enjoyed having some beers looking at the sunset (after his alcoholic problem) and then he saw eye to eye with tyra, both had dreams and ambitions thus they agreed on achieving them before being a formal couple, I really think there was chemistry between those too, much more at the end than at first, and both evolved hugely since the beginning, tayra upgraded her gpa and did a nice sat and went to college what she didn't think it was for her at first, and tim gave time of his life for his brother to be a father, and then realised he wanted to live in texas and build a mechanic place with his brother and later hopefully join tayra and have a family, I think it's a pretty good end, both became better people, better student and better worker, more responsible, still fun, saw eye to eye, a lot of chemistry, tyra didn't give up anything, in fact she made it clear that first was their future, etc, I think Peter Berg did an awesome job on each and every season #FNL
