I was going through a very very horrific time in my life when this series began. From the first episode when Jason Street was injured and coach gave the pep talk to the team about we will all be tested I was hooked because I was being tested through the worse storm and evil a human could go through ever. I watched all five seasons never wanting them to end. I cried the last episode when Julie got engaged to Matt. So many human morals values and integrity in this show as the characters and there life’s unfold . So beautifully done and well written and great cast. I have watched it numerous times the entire 5 seasons…

As you get to the end, you can kinda see some more major flaws with Jason than other male characters. For one thing, he tries so hard to get through his accident and rebuild his life and adjust, but at times you can really see how he goes at it the wrong way. He shreds Herc and the other guys on the team and is frustrated he wasn't picked to go to Beijing, which wasn't very appropriate. I see what you're saying, I mean he's inspiring when you see someone have their entire life turned upside down, but sometimes his attitude and actions really don't help.
