This song is so great and empowering. People that limit themselves to only thinking Black Sabbath can be or was with just Ozzy have truly done themselves a great disservice never hearing the Tony Martin era of the band. Songs like this, The Shinning, Kill In The Spirit World, and Feels Good To Me.....etc. are definitive classics. You left your mark of brilliance Tony. You still have one of the most underrated and overlooked best vocals in Rock/Metal.

Ah 'Nightwing', I'm still a big fan of Tony Martin in Sabbath and various projects, and of course the great Geoff Nicholls! I remember these good days, Tony Martin sent me in the early '90 a couple of letters for my french Sabbath fanzine! It was incredible! Thank you again Tony! Last time I met him was in Paris for the Whole Lotta Metal show at the Olympia! Long time ago now..... I hope you will work again with Tony Iommi! ......

OK people, that's NOT Geoff Nicholls singing the high parts - they're using a pre-recorded vocal track; Tony is singing a lower harmony in the verses, then just lipsyncing in the chorus (except at 5.30 where he sort of sings along with the chorus but goes out of sync with it, and the very end which is just live vocals). A really weird thing to do...

Even from that distance, you can see Geoff is really singing the harmony verse parts but no one is singing those really high bits in the chorus. There's other audience videos form a couple of years later where you can see he's got a backup vocalist harmonising him but has wisely got rid of the tape. There's at least one soundboard of a full show from 2006 where Geoff is definitely singing the 'When Death Calls' bits- definitely not a tape!

No news, yet, although Tony has recently made it clear there will at least be a Martin-era boxset (if we're lucky several!). Volume 4 came out earlier in the year and Sabotage is due in the summer (Missed out SBS!), so might be a while!
