What a great interview. I was a 14 year old living in Sydney in 1980 and remember seeing Tony’s photographic credits in On The Street and other publications. As he said, the live scene back then was amazing.

1993 BDO was epic, if memory serves correct TumbleWeed lifted the roof of the Hordern Pavilion that afternoon. Also the Fuzz weren’t as heavy handed back then as they are now; waiting at every train station hassling the kids for having a bit of pot in their pockets.
