Go back to that source and abide there.” Nisargadatta Maharaj Nisargadatta had the same advise as Ramana and I think their accumulated experience and knowledge trumps Tony the construction worker. Tony came to this very late in life and is it his word we are to take that he has had an enlightenment experience. He even says that he knows people who can recite this all chapter and verse. I think he is speaking from his own experience. I think I will trust the real Advaita teachers.

What we're looking for is just this! I don't think it matters where a teacher gets their 'knowledge' or 'experience' from as long as it resonates...🙏

How could I be suggesting anything....? that is a Nisargadatta quote. My beef with TP and other Neo Advaitans is that they tell seekers that there is nothing they can do, there is no one there to do it. Story time for sure but no the less a cruel joke. Of course there is a long, long tradition of "enlightened teachers" who DO suggest that you can self investigate, meditate and find your way on the pathless path. No need to give up the search in frustration because some one who meditated for years (TP) suddenly tells you it wasn't the reason he became self realized.

Bill Callahan By following the teachings of Ramana and Maharaj do you consider to have made any advancement in your spiritual life? Like what or how? I too have followed Ramana's and Nisagardatta's teaching but what resonates about TP is the logic that you cannot transcend with the mind to something that is untrascendental like the self. Nisagardatta said that (sorry this is from memory...) "the difficulty is that the seeker must dissapear" or something like this which somehow resonates to what we hear TP say. Sorry I don't mean to judge you or anything like that, I just want to learn from people who are also seeking an answer. Thanks.

Don't see how Tony can actually can know other's experiences he has never met to make identifications about them or the portals they wonder through. What Tony don't realize is one day people feel like he does, the next old habits return, mental habits that have been repeating from a very early age. Someone can 'I am not that' or 'there is no here' and completely realize it yet later the mind delusion machine just keeps on. Through silence or an empty process,an wholesome habit can replace a constrictive one. It can empty and empty what is emptying and forget. Then life is wholesome much more often.

There are different levels of understanding that "seekers" are stuck with and nothing that T P says will make the slightest difference. He claims his perception changed one day whilst walking in the park and that it was nothing to do with his past practices,it just happened.He may not still be in that state although he says its not a state! and is just pretending or deluded. So theres no point in talking to those still stuck in the egoic dream,all waiting for the magic word,the technique, to pop out of his mouth. He's trying to make us understand his perception, if he still is it,waste of time. I feel we should all enjoy our little lives while we can before the end and stop chasing our tails trying to grasp this phantom called enlightenment. It will happen or it wont,so dont worry about it. I dont agree with his swearing,why is he so angry? only egos get angry. I dont agree with his dirty jokes either. The Smiths nails joke is sick and an insult to Jesus and his suffering on the cross. Of course TP will say it never happened,try telling that to all those thousands who were crucified by the Romans. He also said on one talk in America that the 9/11 attack where 3000 people died was of no importance ! didn't happen, I bet if anyone he knew was in that disaster, he would think differently.I think he's in denile of our existance as humans beings, and the trials we have, we still have to live the dream its very real to all of us. we feel our pain, physical and mental as well as others if we have any feeling at all, whether we believe its a dream or not. Saying Ramanas teachings are dualistic and that he and hitler didn't exist is nonsense. As far as the dream, is concerned, they did exist. Don't talk shit about Ramana or Jesus. The fact that he cannot acknowledge the 'illusion' that most beings live in shows he's on the other side of the fence and convinced that's what's real. Ramana imho is the best teacher I've encountered because he 'taught' in silence and said that words are an inferior means to transfer information. True. As soon as you open your mouth, you're in duality so claiming that your words are true and another's false makes you deluded. At least acknowledge that when you speak, the best you can hope for is relative truth/ your own reality. Your reality is just that: yours, not universal. So keep your mouth shut, and look for your own source (who am i?) Which is the best practice because this is not a question you will find an answer to. The question if asked honestly will melt the identity with the story/ego. That's the point of who am i, not as misunderstood by TP (self-glorification). Peace, out

Tony the False speaker.....There are layers of emotion/ideas in every person's unconscious. The layers are what cause the inability to access directly pure spirits and angels (Jhana 5-Jhana 6th level) Most mediums who are very accurate are in the 5th Jhana even though they do not know it because ultimately they deeply care to help). And ultimately the Father/Brahma where a person becomes Jivanmukti or Sahaja Nirvikalpa Samadhi I have experienced Samadhi and siddhis because of discipline and forgiveness and control of my thinking.....This man does not know what he is talking about.

@@paulmetdebbie447 Tony is NOT Liberated from the cycle of re-birth. That is to say he is not even close to a Jivanmukti. Being a Jivanmukti is near a bodhi. Miracles occur for people when they are near a true Jivanmukti. Miracles happen because the creator/Brahma/Father in Heaven dwells within all people...A Jivanmukti has erased the subconscious seperations between surface conscious him...And Brahma/Father deep within. A miracle occurs when the person looking at the Jivanmukti has a good feeling/emotional state welling up from deep in the solar plexis/heart chakras about an area of that individual's life. In essence, both the Jivanmukti's & the individual's Brahma/Father said 'Yes' simultaneously....healing is instantaneous. Do you know of anyone being instaneously healed a serious condition? Jivanmukti is very very very rare. An example of a Jivanmukti is Paramahansa Yogananda 1893-1952. try asking him for assistance about a miracle you need and see what happens. He is very much alive no different than Jesus Christ or Babaji, Sai Baba of Shirdi1838-1918, Sri Yukteswar, or finally Lahiri Mahasaya.
