Beautiful table. Good to see that he uses a thingy to pass the wood past the saw. My Father was an Orthopaedic Surgeon and had more than one patient who lost his thumb by not using a thingy.

The cavalier way he glues the pieces together hurt my brain at first, but by the end I realized he does his measurements in such a way that he doesn't have to fiddle around with the glue up, which is a huge time saver. It is always interesting to see someone who uses woodcraft to support their family or make a living because they care a lot about how they spend their time (provided they still appreciate quality like the Slovenian Woodworker)

Awesome build.. do you think making one with epoxy instead of acrylic would be cheaper? Because acrylic that thick is quite expensive.

Thanks man. Yeah epoxy can do it too. Downside is that you can't make it that transparent and even in epoxy would go around 5-7 liters. Cheers

Great job, looks amazing! It looks like the LED power wire is coming from the upper section, wouldn't it be better to put the LEDs on the bottom to up-light the acrylic and then the power wire could come from the base?

I can't repeat to everyone unfortunately.. Thr cored was just that time while i was filming. It was just for show. Table has it's own power supply.no more cord. Cheers

How is the stability of this cable. I don't see adding any dowels or screws. And i'd imagine gluing plexiglass to wood at only narrow strips won't allow for lots of strength. Thanks for answer! Great design

I made some in the past with same technique and they still function. Plexi is glued to both bases. Slot for Plexi is just barely wider to have some room for silicon glue. I don't show this in video but before final assemble I put silicon glue inside and than Plexi. Glue expand a little a makes a strong hold . Table is stable, no shaking or whatever. Regards
