Such a sharp transition from Motorhead to hip-hop. I only know one drummer who is a universal drum-master. Mr Anton Figg, who played with KISS (solo album of Ace Frehley + "Dynasty" + "Unmasked" + Frehley's Comets Band). After that he had played with Michael Jackson, Madonna "Rain", and alot of different artists as Bob Dylan, Warren Zevon, B. B. King, Booker T and The MGs, Peter Frampton, Joan Armatrading, Cyndi Lauper, Link Wray, John Waite, Robert Gordon, Eric Johnson, Beth Hart, Oz Noy and Kix.

thank you... that's great company to mentioned with!! i'm a big fan of anton fig, i grew up watching Late Night with David Letterman pretty much every night when i was a teenager so i was always impressed with how Anton was able to seamlessly transition between music genres and back almost any musical artist who appeared on the show... when i started learning more about Antons' resume it all started to make sense... drummers like Anton, Kenny Aronoff, John Robinson, Simon Phillips, Max Weinberg, Jeff Porcaro and many others have always been big influences of mine... at the end of the day, i've always strived to be a musician first and a drummer second, and being able to serve songs across many different musical styles was a very important part of my practice routine... cheers man!!
