Visconti's bass work on "Man Who Sold the World" is nothing but first class work from start to finish, and inspired me for years.

Tony Visconti is one of the most intelligent and interesting people in the music business. I could listen to him talking about David and Marc all day! Fascinating insights.

@@johnpenfold8631 Visconti plays bass. The only thing we've got in common now are dead friends. ''What, Tony Visconti writes to you''! Yes. ''That's great, but, who is he''? A milkman.

The Gene Genie...when at the end of the 1st verse the bass hits the chorus one bar too early, "Get back Tony..."

Trevor Bolder played bass on that song, and Bowie definitely does not say “Tony”. I think he says “get back on it”.

Woody wasn't given enough time. Tony likes to talk.
