Dear Banjo Ben. You always have the best stuff! Thanks. I have a question after trying out these licks. Quick fyi, my daughter drums. Why is the “groove” different in banjo inspired music vs. say classic rock, maybe the ACDC rhythm? Or, why is “Gentle on My Mind” or even Mike Mumford different than Lester and Earl? Any thoughts?

If it were not for banjo pickers, all those rock and roll guitar players wouldn't have all the cool licks. Remember, banjos had the thin strings long before guitars got them. So many cool lick to learn to make music fun. They just sound better on a banjo. LOL
