Couldn’t agree more with what Tony has said and great to get an insight into his brilliant modelling and extensive layout as well as those tips. It’s a fantastic retirement hobby too. So much to do and topics to master as the hobby continues to advance. That keeps the brain buzzing way too - which as so many researchers are saying these days helps keep dementia at bay! I hope Tony’s beaten his depression - I too used (getting back into) model railways to overcome the same. Hornby models in particular are often too light compared to their competition. I get a lot of pleasure adding lead weight to improve, fiddly work but very therapeutic, nothing like beating and shaping that lead! Also DCC chipping locos, adding cab / passenger lighting and firebox flicker effects too. All the best Stephen.

How Wonderful to see more of Tony Wrights. Little Bytham. As someone who has had my own challenges with Mental health. I can certainly endorse Tony's comments that a return to railway modelling (after many years away) was and continues to be wonderful therapy. How lovely to be hearing someone like Mr Wright pointing out some of the wonderful items Hornby produce, rather than the constant Hornby Bashing that seems to occur in some circles. A true Gentleman and an inspiration. Thankyou Tony. Regards Ed.
