Yayo is 💯% on point. You appreciate the art of the culture when you know the culture from the root. Vlad tries to make his point but every genre has that in it where the early pioneers never profited from the inception of a genre! But the future artist always gain from their sacrifices. As far as 80s Hiphop is concerned, folks seem to forget at that time it was being called "A Fad". The opinion of those outside the community was that it wasn't gonna last.
