great video man just found your channel the videos are very informational I have a 2012 iron 883 and plan to do the 1275 kit hopefully this winter thanks for the info keep up the videos

Just did a 1275 kit on my buell s1w. Havent had it out to break it in yet as its still winter here. I know exactly what you meant previously about being intimidated by the install but, being thorough and paying attention and it wasnt bad at all..i also added a complete single fire ignition. During idle it doesnt bounce around like it did prior. Breaking this in is going to take a lot of reatraint. You know. Good vid.

Great vids! keep em comin'. Was wondering if you know the benefit to this kit over the Harley Davidson one. Noticed the Harley Davidson kit includes the heads too for around the same price as the Hammer and S&S kits which only upgrade the jugs. Again, great vids.

The hammer kits are extremely well made and their customer service is outstanding. The Harley kit is a 1200 and the hammer is a 1275cc. With the research I did Hammer just seemed like the best choice for me. Harley makes a great product also. I would suggest giving hammer a call and they will give you all the info you need and then some. They really know there stuff. Good luck,

Hey Tony, I know it’s been awhile since you got your 1275 Hammer kit. How is it running with having V&H sending you the map to flash? I just got mines installed and I’m at the tuning process. Thinking if I should edit and enter the values myself or send to V&H to have it done. Thanks for your time!

Hey Darren, bike ran fantastic unfortunately I traded it for a Softail slim. The map I used from hammer and Vance and Hines worked great. I did run an autotune after break in.

Hi man, was it the basic 1275 conversion kit? Also did you do anything about the clutch? Thanks for taking the time to answer

Yes the basic kit and you need to add a stronger clutch spring. The clutch has to deal with a lot more torque. Thanks for watching! Ride safe.

You are really not trying to sell this kit, are you; most people who buy a1275 would just like to know "How Fast" does it go, You don't show that ever (boring video).

Rebuilding my 93 883 xlh can I use my 883 heads? I have S&S springs, rocker arms, adjustable pushrods and lifters... Should I be OK with them or should I spend some more money on 1200 heads? Thanks in advance

I would call the manufacturer of your conversion kit and get their recommendations. I know 1200 head will give you more power at the end of the day. Thanks for watching

500 miles for break in is ridiculous. Hell, ya can buy a bike off the showroom floor n smack the snot out of it. When i do the swap ill follow the short heat cycle, but a day of going easy is about all im gonna give it

Hope you'll be ready to purchase a new kit after you destroy yours. 500 miles isn't that much and it really is a necessity

You are tough and should also try a nitrous shot to just get the heat cycle done quickly too. Three wheelies down the street with a fat chick and sissy bar on the back is all that’s necessary. I tend to down a six pack, put on some thongs and ugg boots and just scream out “I love the cocaine you cunts” and do a skid on the lawn of the local police station. I leave the bike running to prevent a seizure, get off and do a piss on it to cool down, often a quick poo on the lawn, wipe the shit off with my bandanna and then straight back on, you guessed it, burnout on the grass and try to do a swastika but always end up doing the gay males symbols and then eat some chewing tobacco and vomit on the way home. Then the bike is more or less, done. I’m borderline retarded as per my step dad’s diagnosis and have a certificate to prove it. It says Birth. I also have a Hilary for my wife tattoo. My bike is a Custom and I’m a democrat.

Oh yeah, because those guys who designed these cylinders and pistons don’t know SQUAT, right? Your comment reminds me of the guy who decided that he’d just clean up the piston skirts with a bench mounted wire wheel before re-using them. I’ve been riding for 50 years and I’ve known MANY ‘experts’ like you. Their tales of woe are great fireside stories for new friends who generally can’t believe that people THAT stupid actually exist.
