Iron 883 Mod Series: Hammer Performance 1275 kit Unboxing

Last weekend I finished break in on a hammer 1275 with worked 1200 heads. The bike is an 04 I bought new as an 883 then did an NRHS 1212 in 2008 but this time around, wow! I can’t find your 1275 video but it was months ago you got the kit so guessing you didn’t do a video. Hope you’re enjoying the new power it’s like a new bike. I was going to get myself a new low rider S for my 60 birthday next month but chose the Hammer makeover instead and super happy with my choice especially now that the 500 break in is done! ✌️

I did this same exact kit on my sportster as well,same year and color as yours, I also added fueling parts 505/515 cams, fueling parts solid race lifters,s&s adjustable pushrods as well,and I upgraded the oil pump gear that hammer performance sells as well... I ordered my power vision thru hammer also

I am definitely excited to see your mod series installing this Hammer 1275 kit...this is what I want to do to my iron 883 as well eventually. I’m not a mechanic either, so I hope this is something I can do on my own once I get ready to start. Keep up the great work!

What about your gears are you going to swap out your gears also? S&S has a full kit but it’s only a 1200. Can you add a parts list? I got an 11 iron I’m thinking of doing but came across the hammer kit

Man I thought people were going to eat you up in the comments the Cylinder into the cylinder head little wrong in your terminologies there, but cylinders are right sometimes people call those jugs, the thing that you were referring to is the cylinder head is known as a piston.

If you have Harley Davidson do their screamin Eagle upgrade it won’t void your warranty. If you want a Hammer kit just wait til the warranty is up.

Yep, still belt drive. Lots of pros and cons to chain drive, maybe one day

@@GETWRENCHD Did you get a new fuel pump and coil pack? And please be careful... that torque could snap that belt. Not common but it has happened with increased HP. 👍
