Ben’s character is what Anakin should have been. I loved his inner conflict and emotions. He was probably my favorite character of the last three movies. Rey was way underdeveloped. I appreciated the twist of her lineage, but that should have been revealed earlier in the series 🙄. Either way, I actually enjoyed this movie overall. It was definitely a good time 👍🏽
@IAmWizdom10004 жыл бұрын
I'm a very casual Star Wars fan. Did they allude to her lineage at all or they just dropped the bomb in the last movie? because I agree especially if everyone else knew.

James Etim they kind of hinted at it in The Last Jedi when Luke began to train her. I feel like that should have be expanded on from that point.
@GEMINIVice14 жыл бұрын
Disagree with Anakin/Vader being more like Kylo Ren aka Ben Solo...I think Anakin having the slow build up to the tragic turn to the dark side in episodes 1-3 was the right call. For the current trilogy, episode 7 was ok as setting up for 8 and 9. Episodes 8 and 9 should have either been flipped (with obvious changes when needed) or the same director should have been allowed to do both of those as well. The details of Rey’s back story should have been in the 2nd film, not the last. Luke’s sendoff probably would have played better in the final film as well as Rey’s training under him a bit longer between episodes 8-9. Leia could have maybe gotten at least one scene with her son in trying to bring him back from the dark side. Han was on screen with Ben twice between the 3 movies I believe. Leia either just spoke of him or used some Jedi telepathy to try to talk to him. Just my opinion.

James Etim lmfao you ain’t never lie. Hey kissing REN didn’t even make sense. She’s related to Palpi but they didn’t have her fight enough to really show her resisting the Darkside. And her Kissing Finn or Her being connected to Finn via the Force I guess would’ve made too much sense.

I absolutely loved Rise of Skywalker. The few gripes that I had had more to do with pacing. But thats with most movies today, the pacing is too quick. Its like they make movies for ADD-children, for people that cant sit through a slow dialogue scene. The opening few minutes of this movie had far too much going on, it was actually jarring. After that it settled down somewhat. I did like the adventure part, where they have to find some McGuffin to find another McGuffin to find where they are going. Thats all fine with me, it had some Indiana Jones flavor in that regard. The characters meshed well, the music is fantastic, and I thought they wrapped up everything nicely, as nice as they could have.

They only put fin in the movie just to be the token black guy, but they wanted to make sure he wasn’t a sex symbol or attractive in anyway so that is why they had him being a Simp chasing after Ray and yelling her name all three movies. And that is why he didn’t have any facial hair or a lineup on his haircut until this last movie. They could’ve easily put in Michael B Jordan type of black guy in there or at least let the guy who plays fan come off as more masculine but they wanted to push their feminist agenda of having a strong independent woman who doesn’t need a man as the main character. And no I’m not intimidated by nor do I hate women but what I just said was straight facts
