When my mom threw out her back due to sneezing while getting the laundry out of the dryer. At the time I was 10 no one else was home and I had to call 911 and help her untill they got there. She was in such pain, I was scared and crying. But looking back she was in her late 30s early 40s which is my age now, and that shit has become my nightmare 🤣

I played college softball DII in NorCal. These women are throwing 65+ mph at only 43ft away!!! Baseball is 60.5ft away with the average speed 80-99 mph. There’s NO WAY IN HELL I’d face a trans woman pitcher at only 43 ft away. Testosterone is no joke. Muscle mass is crucial. Quick twitch muscles for sprinting/stealing bases-unmatched. Also, as an outfielder/1st baseman, think how HARD that fat yellow ball would come at you from someone who has more testosterone, more muscle mass, and quicker reflexes. It’s not fair. (I might get canceled but this is just my perspective 🥴)

The muscle mass and bone density is just genetically different between men and women no matter what they identify as you can’t just ignore the physical advantage that they naturally have!! I feel like if they really love the sport they would compete with equal competition it seems like they’re just seeking easy dominance

@@Noquarious the specifications of a softball field, the base path length, the balls circumference, the bat’s composite material, and the pitching mound were created for girls/women’s softball. To have our own field-if you will. So going to overhand would just make it baseball. And I know plenty of great girls who played t ball and baseball as little kids. But the separation of skill comes in around puberty. It’s like denying the biological differences of sex. Not gender. We all agree you can identify with whatever you know? But it’s like, for the cis gendered athletes, where are we to go ?

But if it’s more about being accepted and being free to play the sport you love, then let’s create leagues for that. It will protect so many athletes who have dreams of going pro, playing overseas, or just being a college athlete.

I think the transgender question is case-by-case basis, and a very needed dialogue as we progress to a more inclusive society....I know that some cis-women, who play sports, are looked at sideways if they have higher testosterone. Serena is a prime example. In that same line of thinking, if there is a transwomen (or even a cis-man), who has really low testosterone, I'm not sure if there is that much of a difference...But the conversation continues

Agreed. What the guys said about it being by weight class or some other kind of measurable metric might be one solution. The could group people by hormone levels, weight, size, skill level etc. Having separate leagues in the mean time could be a temporary fix. It’s complex but like you said definitely needs to be discussed and thought about in an open and fair way.
