Them red cabbages are going to be amazing!! What will you do with them? Shame the savoys are getting nibbled but still look fab. Make sure you cover them properly though Chuck. Cavello Nero is looking good too. You beds are just the right size for them covers int they? Looking real good Tony.

Bees and butterflies have been decimated. Some more Bees showing recently. We had a warm spell early in the year so Bees and butterflies were out and then we got frosts and then very wet weather. Hope they get a chance now.

Garden is looking lovely Tony. As is the polytunnel. My tomatoes in my autopots in my greenhouse are sticking out of the windows openers! I have never had them so tall. Let's hope we get some sun to ripen the tomatoes now. it has been such a gloomy cloudy summer so far here int he South East. I am getting some ripe micro tomatoes now though I sowed those in Feb.

The ones pointing straight up could be a piri piri if you sowed any of those? Maybe a Thai chilli?

Those little onions at the end of the bed would also benefit from a nitrogen feed to get them going. Your poly tunnel crops are 😍. Jo Devon 🙂

We've had a couple of cabbage whites in Wales but tbh they've not laid any eggs on the brassicas. I've not bothered netting but checking them. Plot looks fantastic

I often wonder if the reason you have so many weeds (besides being next to an unkempt allotment) is because you're pulling weeds up and leaving them in the beds to reseed? I've been a subscriber for years, and so enjoy watching your videos. And I well know the year healthwise was rough. But your humor and positivity eventually shine through it all.

Tony why don't you put some screws around your beds and just hook yournets to it save you using bricks.

I must be a lucky gardener No one hardly any white butterflies No two lack of snails/slugs ? Living in West Mids they might have taken to the canal instead . On the downside not seen a lot of insect life ie bees/hoverflies green/black fly ?. Such i weird season . Sorry to tell you my carrots are looking fine
