Fascinating piece of film Tony. Amazing to look at the convent site and all the green space back then -- now 4 or 5 timers more pupils and hardly a blade of grass anywhere !!

I first visited Balbriggan In the summer of 1992 for voluntary work for a week or two, was doing that for the following 20 years. I can say its a perfect example how the Celtic Tiger and now part 2, a beautiful seaside town has been destroyed beyond recognition.

Agreed. I grew up there in the 1960's and 70's. When I occasionally visit it's sad to see how it's just a, sprawling urban mess now.
