Yes! A while back, you made a video about pairing items for women’s fashion-it really stuck with me. I get compliments often; two weeks ago after church, a guy rolled down his window and said, "I love the fit, that's a real good fit. And you're absolutely stunning by the way." I was wearing a mixture of earthy tones: a graphic crewneck christian brand sweater, auburn rust pants, burgundy heel boots, a trench, and a scarf. My inspiration comes from the timeless style of women in my life, like my mom and aunts, and other elegant women online, like Sheri Gaskins ❤.

Tony is right! I love fashion this guy just gave me a compliment the other day and said I always look fashionable he can tell I’m into fashion. And I really just will have some sneakers on some boyfriend jeans and a shirt that match my sneakers and my hair be on point my lip gloss on and smelling good and that’ll do it every time! It’s not about what you wear it’s how you wear it.

He ain’t lying about men liking casual outfits. When I first got married my husband told me I always dressed like I was going to an event or a business meeting. He wanted me to buy more sneakers and simple shirts or graphic tees. He didn’t have to tell me twice! Now I only dress up if we’re going somewhere nice or if the mood hits me. (And I can tell he likes having me on his arm when I do.) But for the most part, I keep it classy but simple and he loves it. He even buys us matching shoes sometimes. People get a kick out of it when they see us rocking the same sneakers.

The only men who told me how to dress , wearing restrictive clothing dresses are men that are / were single. I always wear hoodies , jeans and trainers . The men who want women to dress up in my experience are men that are alone and stay alone .

As a matter of fact, my husband and I were just talking about "Bobo's" the other day and then today I arrived home to find 3 new pairs of shoes because apparently I need to "Up my shoe game." 😒 LOL I immediately thought about how I'd just watched this video. We really can't allow ourselves to slack off in marriage, but it definitely helps to have husbands who see us, love us, and help us to level up in areas we may not be so strong (like my shoe game!) 😄

I can attest to guys appreciating women in nice casual outfits. Back when velour jogging/track suits were in, I was on a plane leaving NYC on the way to All-Star weekend in ATL . Everybody was on that plane from regular people to celebrities. We were still boarding & ladies were in. 4 inch stilettos and chinchilla fur coats, etc. I just had on my little casual tracksuit wearing downtown Air Force 1s but they were very popular then for ladies lol I had just walked into my row on the plane & a guy stopped in front of me, looked at me, pointed & said “you bad” & kept walking to his row. At that moment. I realized some men appreciate a woman not doing too much & trying to be seen. Not saying we shouldn’t dress up but what Tony is talking about concerning guys appreciating certain things makes a lot of sense.

This is my first time commenting. I used to struggle with my style choices because I was told I'm too artsy. I have tried the ghetto fabulous look, the hi class look, however I was never comfortable because they weren't me. When I dress for my authentic self I feel better. The crazy part is that black men just stare. Non black men come right up and start conversations. Go figure.

Great advice! For me, looking up body type styling systems and color seasons has helped my personal style a ton! Simple, high quality, color blocking, natural materials… all elements of classy dressing. And it doesn’t have to be expensive. Try online thrift shops or in store luxury resale shops.

The black dots i have been working on forever. But exfoliation is a must. And i use paula choice products. Also i will be investing in laser. But must wax not shave. I know what i get laser those hair follicle dots will close and that what reall gets rid of them. Also after reg shower take a cold for a few minutes its shrinks the holes. Now after a year i can barely see them but its alot consistency and a real shower routine

I used to be overlooked by various ages of ppl except for otherwise including my hairstyle. I finally became seen and asked out by the opposite gender. After I began making my own money in my late teens. Right now I am wearing those kind of jeans.... And, a guy actually gave me his number just the other day-after inviting me for coffee and having a short conversation. He came out of nowhere, and it was like he knew me. My children now appreciate me for not being this way. And, I am that kind of mother today.... For some reason my husband was the only person who loved to buy me sandals. Hallelujah. Amen.

I took some time tonight to evaluate on my wardrobe over the last few years after luatening to this and definitely can admit that i had a few years where i was doing too much. As i rhink about it and looked back at photos can admit those were times when i was heavier and also generally leas confident in mt dating. I have never been one to wear a lot of prints, per say, but the outfits i put together were to much and probably looked silly thinking on the men and dates I went on. Theres aomething to be aaid about as you improve on your body (toning adding muscle losing weight) just wearing a pair of jeans and a tshirt even just looks different. Tony thanks for this video and fortunately, i have a nice employee discount at my store and added a few essentials ro my list to buy. I even would often go out on dates during winter and do too much with my outfit to the point, I once went on a date after it snowed/iced and was bent on wearing heels And slipped. And then, refused to wear a coat bc I didn't want to look even bulkier when I walked up to the man 😂And recall, his asking where my coat was and commenting about the heels in snow. The things we do! He probably thought I looked ridiculous and literally no one else was dressed like that in the balery restaurant (for brunch) fhat we met at. Maybe a other woman will read rhis and can also admit their fouls? 😅

I have the same black and white Nike shoes(slip ons) that I bought four years ago to go on a trip to Vegas with my husband. Reluctantly bought a pair of overpriced white tennis shoes at Armani Exchange.(Vegas). "Fashion" is a rip off game for the most part. I'm not giving my money for "Prada" to buy another castle, while I advertise him for free. My uniform consists of my pretty face, my very in shape body(my gym trainer said our bodies are our wardrobe.) , and whatever I wear to show off my shape while being fully clothed and classy. Be it a target t shirt and cargo pants or levi bell bottoms. I do wear leggings, but the bell bottom style. My husband didn't even have a car when we started dating. He rode a bike over. But we helped each other and now he makes over 7 figures. I now drive BMW and Lexus. Mid level luxury. I cleaned out my closet of all of that stuff thats only going to go out of style and keep us chasing the next "fashion item". Its more important to treat each other well and get back to traditional healthy relationships and marriage. My lesson about Fashion: "If it's on your ass, it's not an asset". Respect to you.

Ive heard to never wear anything on either hand that remotely resembles a wedding or engagement ring even if on the right hand, bc some men don't pay attention and will just assume the woman is married or engaged no matter what hand or finger it's on. For years, I wore my grandmother's engagement ring and even though it was on right-hand middle finger realized it probably confused some men so am getting the diamonds reset in studs and a pendant.
