Taiwan Representative Suburban Mountain～Shiniu Mountain (Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County)

I have not seen Shiniu Mountain for more than ten years and finally climbed to the top again! Shiniu Mountain is now one of Taiwan’s top 100 Representative Suburban Mountains. The huge rock on the top of the mountain was split into two pieces by the Hualien earthquake on April 3 this year, witnessing the powerful destructive power of the earthquake. Route A of the Shiniu Mountain Hiking Trail was also damaged. Fortunately, Route B is intact.

Shiniu Mountain Trailhead Parking Lot → About 90 minutes (including filming and rest time) → Shiniu Mountain
Shiniu Mountain → About 50 minutes → Shiniu Mountain trailhead parking lot (including rest time).

There are public toilets next to Shifu Temple.

★Public transportation: There is no bus directly to the parking lot at the trailhead. The above Google map has marked nearby bus stops. You are welcome to click on the website, open the map, and refer to the bus stop names and bus timetables.
★Driving by yourself: Enter "Kansai Town Shifu Temple" on Google Maps satellite navigation to reach the trailhead parking lot. Parking fee is NT$100.
