Hello. I am writing with one more question. I believe this is the 404 model. Do the dishes dry properly? Actually, we are deciding between the 404 and 604 model. We have heard 604 model has a pro dry technology for drying dishes.

Mine doesn't clean greasy bowls at the bottom rack or my silver wear so well, wondering if mine is defective.

Do you make sure that your water is hot in the lines before starting it? Also could be your detergent is not strong enough. I always run my tap for a bit until I feel the hot water coming out before starting my dishwasher, something that my old pops taught me way back.

Just got this dishwasher and when we turn it on it buzzes 3 separates times before it runs, does yours also do this? Wanted to k ow if thus is normal or I should place a service call

Now that you have had this dishwasher, how do you like it? I recently bought this same model and am waiting to have it installed. There hadn't been a dishwasher in this house when I bought it several years ago, so I have to have someone come in to so the plumbing and electrical work. I can't wait! I have owned Kitchen Aid dishwashers in the past and have always found them to be reliable.

We are super happy with ours. No problems at all so far and it is very quiet.

Top rack sprayer had the bracket come loose after about a year and it won't reattach. I am trying to order the bracket (its the maroon one at the top) to see if that corrects it. You can see it around 1:21 into the video. Its important because it holds to the two top spray arms (that sit right below the 3rd rack) in place. This seems to be a design flaw. I would not buy this dishwasher again. Might go back to Bosch after this experience.

@@derrickbrown5189 Well I have had mine almost a year now, so far so good. I previously bought a Bosch and it was horrible. Didn't clean the dishes at all, it was horrible and I returned it . This was quite a few years ago like over 5 years ago or so at my previous home. I hope you find a dishwasher that works well for you.

Hi there. I just watched this great video about your Kitchenaid dishwasher. Thank you for posting it! We are thinking of buying this model, but I have a few questions I'm hoping you can answer... After the dishwasher finishes its job, does the indicator light stay on even after you open yhe door? Our current model stays on until we open and then close the door, and we really like that feature. Also, can you turn off the sounds (e.g. end of cycle, etc)? And, most importantly, are you still liking it a year after purchasing it? Thank you! Rick

From my wife Nikki: No the light does not stay on after opening the door. I love this dishwasher and the load capacity. It is awesome. Ive never tried turning off any of the sounds.

It’s actually two rotating sprayers that spray water onto the third level. The arrows also confused me at first and I thought it was something to touch, but actually it isn’t.

I don’t know Tony. You spend over $1000 on a top of the line something you can’t hear even when in the same room and on the other side of the house, you spend $1000s and $1000s on things made to make a lot of noise. Makes no sense.

Depends on what noise your looking for! In my house I want no noise. But in my garage I want to piss my neighborhood off to the max!
