@@mathieujabbour7544 left hand usually just plays quarter notes and the right hand provides the rhythmic syncopation. I do have two other videos on the song that might be of interest

Great comments for improvisation at the end. I admit I need a good deal of work along those lines, but followed the discussion well enough. Prior to that you offered comping rhythm pattern suggestions. My approach has been to learn the rhythm of a melody and then to not sound the left hand so much when the melody is played. Playing left and right hands together does have a nice effect which should also be explored. In general IRealPro works well for me… Thanks Tony, Jobim is one of my favorite composers.

@@johnpagan9315 thanks for the great comment . I agree that the left hand rhythm should not generally copy the right hand. I was suggesting that you let rhythms from other songs inspire you. I like your approach. The left hand doesn't have to do as much when the right hand is busy
