Well check that out. Thanks for the plug, Tony. I'm a fan...simply because you showed Mr. Rogers and mentioned the Neighborhood Of Make Believe.

Kudos for the Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you ever tried - Riddleagan Smart Hands Remedy (should be on google have a look)? It is an awesome one of a kind guide for learning piano fast minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my mate at very last got cool success with it.

I can't recommend enough listening to the original french version of autumn leaves ("les feuilles mortes" - dead leaves) by Yves Montand. Really, on an emotion level, a whole different story that the English adaptation.

Well one thing ive found out that we tend to make more mistakes when we are filming and also it pushes us to to a better job.. I used to do arpeggios ect. fairly crisp with good control and playing stuff i havnt played in years brings it back.. but i have started to practice those things i used to do.. I have more trouble with camera angles ect. I co\could close my eyes and listen to this all day.. i cob ab gb fb efb db c uld tell my wife i was doing research. she doesnt buy that... lol. I would like to get some resources that you have and put them on my musescore stuff.. iam trying to set up on a midi piano.. thats a work in progress/ i ran across something the other day and somewone was teaching the altered scale.. just wanted to point out its nothing but the flatted note of every note except the root. in c it is c bb ab gb fb eb db c.

Hi tony. Four ways to get to C. Hmm. So first way was good ol' 2-5-1. Cool. Second was 2-b2-1. Where the b2 is a tritone sub of 5. Then b6-5-1, where b6 is the tritone sub of 2 this time. Cool. I didn't catch the 4th way. Anybody? Another way is 2-b2dim7-1. Thanks a bunch!

love the tutorial. And the humour. Can we perhaps just consider different vocal keys in the tones of soprano and alto or bass instead of guy and girl keys as I don't sing "girl keys" and I'm a girl. Other than that, loving your way of teaching. Informative, quick and to the point
@TonyWinston
@TonyWinston 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you're completely right, singers have all different ranges and sometimes only one key really works. I find most of the 'boy' keys to be a little too low. Its important for singers to find a good key for sure. So....give me a song and your key and I might do a video on it.!
