My theory is that pre-orders sold so well that they had to increase production. This explains why some stores got Springer ahead of Swoop, even though Swoop is supposed to be in the wave before Springer.

this guy hits HARD for us collectors in the UK and Ireland as back in the day Swoop was the ONE dinobot they never released here so i cant wait for him to hit the stores. funny thing is though this time around Grimlock was the one bot in my area not to get a store release !

Yet they gave Slash a core class figure in potp. I bet there are designers at Hastak that would love the challenge to design G1 styled figures for Scorn and Slash to fit with the 5 originals.

Still an instant purchase…. However, why on earth couldn’t hastak get each dinobot a gun AND a sword? I mean we got that awful wheelie and Daniel (?) in exo-suit, so why couldn’t that all have a blaster and sword. Snarl is missing a blaster and we have will have to buy comic book exclusive Grimlock to get enough swords. What were they thinking?

Thanks for the video Chef!!! What an awesome presence this figure has!!! These Dinobots are the definitive version no doubt!!!! Both modes look on point unlike SS86 Ultra Magnus that the truck mode is perfect but the robot mode is off in size!

So glad this guy came with Grimlock's Sword. Remember the Grimlock had a figure with it which many probably didn't want. So if they ever re-release Grimlock again for those who missed it I suggest to Hasbro to just put the sword in with him this time instead of the figure. I still remember the first time I got my SS86 Grimlock and impressed by the sheer heft of the figure. Now that Swoop is finally here, he completes the team as the bombing run guy. Does anyone think if they re-release these guys again they should actually use chrome paint like the 1980s figures? Man I miss chrome paint. Having shiny metallic dinobots would probably make colectors rebuy these guys again as the "premium finish" editions.

The chrome edition could be for a Masterpiece edition. They need to re release Grimlock again as i dont have it lol

@@unknownunknown7393 They recently re-released Masterpiece Optimu Prime (MP44S) with toy-accurate colors. IE the "pants" are silver painted. So that might happen if the demand is high. But what I am talking about is "premium finish". (the fancy word for giving the re-release a better paint job. Eg there was a Premium Finish TF Bumblebee Novie Optimus Prime with the black window wipers and silver painted legs)

I would love to see Hasbro do legacy leader class versions of Scarr and even Scorn, I know there was only an AOE version of Scorn but I have seen some G1 style fan images of him online and he would look great.
