If you did I apologize) I love seeing the big girl pull front flips it's so insane. I must say I love BSI IC2000 it has given more life to countless katars haha. Thanks so much Nick 😜. These Overkill shafts do add a few grams over the Beefcake ones. My scale weighed 42g stock, 52g Beefcake, and 72g Overkill. They're like little clubs 😱😂. Avery wanted to fit the strongest option possible to for guys that dart these heavy Beasts into the ground out having fun. At this thickness, it would be extremely difficulty to bend them 💪. Yeah I was kicking myself for forgetting to glue that Backflip and bring my spares 😝. How that foam logded under the front fender is just Nuts. 🤣. Definitely cut a good run short. The Death Rock is partially covered, but too heavy to move 😝. The BSI IC2000 glue is awesome. I ran 3 different tires during testing and had a Blast with all of them 😍. First time running my Copperhead 2's on the Outcast and they actually felt great. Not the fastest, but made big flips easy with the Leo 5898 and bounced nicely over some nasty rough terrain. Really appreciate it Brother!!!! 🍻😎💪👊👊

That Outcast is awesome. It's crazy how well it flies in the air. I'm still amazed at how little scale we get in these videos for how big these rigs are. Recently I picked up a Kraton 6S EXB roller and added the stock Spektrum electronics from the other 6S rtr's. It's totally massive and the 8S rigs are even bigger! I was wondering if you ever have trouble going to those construction sites when they're not working? There's a couple by me that look deserted on the weekends but I've always wondered if there would be security or someone calling the cops on me.🙈🙈 There's a massive gravel pit not far from me but they got signs that say they have video surveillance 🕵🕵🍻🍻
@richduperbash29663 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much Andy 🤗. Indeed, the 8s rigs are humongous compared to the 6s rigs 😱. I still trip out just walking past them in the garage 😂. They fly amazingly well for being 30+ pounds fully loaded. Just have to respect their size. These rigs could easily break a leg with the right hit. You're right about the Kraton 6s though, it's a good size rig 👍. Construction sites are a Blast when you can find one that's not on lockdown. I use my judgement and won't step foot near any with no trespassing signs....etc. Definitely don't want any problems. If I see workers, I've sometimes asked permission and been welcomed depending on what's going on at the site. Overall, I try to find areas that look like fun and don't have work in progress or people nearby. If someone asks me to leave, I'm gone no problem. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hey Gerald 🤗. Congrats on the Killer upgrades 😱. Pretty sure Avery posted a how to vid on the M2C Racing website for the shafts and cartridges🤔. Make sure to put Green Slime or Protek shock O-ring grease (or equivalent) on the rings. As far as the HR caps go, you really want the oil level about level (or topped off) with the top of the shock cartridge (after first pumping the residual air out from under the pistons). Screw the caps on with the cap bleeder screws removed. Lower the shock shafts (springs removed) catching residual oil from the bleeder holes with a paper towel. Insert and tighten the bleeder screws with the shafts almost completely compressed. I use my pinky finger as a spacer between the rod end and bottom of the shock. My ARRMA 6s ZRS shock video covers the same principles.🍻😎💪👊👊

Thanks so much Lucas 😜. Ed with Eastern RC is such a great guy 🤗. Funny as heck too 😂. Having distributors was a clutch idea for M2C. Thanks so much Brother 😜. Congrats on your 08s. I'm currently running EXB shocks with 40 weight front and 35 rear plus M2C 8s pistons. Diffs have 1 mil front, Silicone ear plugs center and 500k rear. 😎💪👊👊

What is silicone ear plugs ? I've heard guys running 100 mil in center ? What does 1 mil in front n 500 k in rear do ? Does that give ya more bite in front ? The use of heavier n lighter diff oils has boggled me.
@richduperbash29662 жыл бұрын
@@rtk6945 here's a link to the ear plugs I use. The Truck comes with 20 million cst center diff. The ear plugs are much thicker and limits power transfer and tire ballooning to the front diff when on harder throttle. The heavier fluids (front and rear diff) simply control left to right power transfer while turning or whenever a wheel raises off the ground. Again this mitigates power loss/transfer to offloaded wheels.www.riteaid.com/shop/rite-aid-pharmacy-silicone-ear-plugs-6-pair?gclid=CjwKCAiApfeQBhAUEiwA7K_UH2La2t6BeEgTn97mf4Xk3X5A9nNRhl8NlZgj3OftIv1D9p8tygwqkhoClxkQAvD_BwE

Got the m2c shafts for my k8 and snapped a pin within 5 bashes. Asked about warranty and they said landing on throttle, rpm arms, and belted tires could lead to this. I never land on the gas (learned this from owning an xmaxx), don't have rpm arms, and I do have the masher x but they're lighter than stock so?!? Seems my problem is the pins so I guess ill just buy those In bulk and replace when needed. I understand nothing is indestructible I just thought an upgraded part should be better than stock especially if it costs more
@richduperbash29663 жыл бұрын
Brother that sucks you snapped a pin 😝. I've done that plenty of times with the stockers, but have yet to snap an M2C one. I have had to file or replace my outdrive cups as they've either bent or become gouged (noticed my pin getting snagged at certain angles or not moving freely). All M2C can really do is use the best hardened or tool steel grade pins available. It's possible they could go with a larger pin if they design their own outdrive cups 🤔. Either way, I'm sorry to hear it busted. I'm sticking with stock rear arms myself. Hopefully RPM will do a V2 mold incorporating a spot for droop screws. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I'm turning the wheels to correct direction and level off during the jumps. Those plastic ramps pop the truck kinda crazy. They're getting worn and warped with a few cracks in the under bracing. Still looking for replacements. Yeah I keep my servo saver cranked tight and run the HD EXB style servo saver spring. I've found the steering links and pillow ball nuts also come loose pretty easily as well. The saver assembly itself is quite interesting. 🍻

I was happy with my Hobbywing 1100 5687 in the O8s, but it ultimately seized up. For gobs of power, the Hobbystar 980kv 56112 with Max5 was fairly insane 😱. Think I was running 32/39 gearing. The Leo 5898 1100 I'm running now has loads of power, but the endbell screws are too small for brutal bashing and it's just isn't smooth. Also the wires are a bitch to solder. Comes with off size 6mm connectors and requires extensions. Hobbystar comes with 8mm connectors, but it's easy enough swapping to 6.5's. 😎💪👊👊

@richduperbash29663 жыл бұрын
I actually prefer the stock arms overall. I'm running RPM fronts on my Kraton EXB 8s as an ongoing experiment. Broke one of them my second run, but it was a nasty off coarse mega launch onto a 3 foot drainage pipe 😱. RPM rushed their design (in my opinion)and failed to incorporate a spot for droop screws. Excessive droop doesn't help handling and isn't good for the shocks, rod ends, and pistons. 😎💪👊👊
