Steve really pulled through. Again. But man, Noah's acting is off the charts for this season. Like, I felt bad for Will in S1. But I felt awful for him in this season. He's been tormented pretty much this whole season. Luckily, he's had Mike and Joyce by his side the whole time. But they must feel awful, having to watch him be in agony like that. Especially considering that Mike held Will's hand and made the promise that they wouldn't let the shadow monster spy back. To Mike, it must feel like he failed to keep that promise. That he couldn't keep Will safe. Must feel so awful for him.

Just a head's up - next chapter is one that a lot of fans dislike, some down right hate it. I've seen a few of those folks comment on KZbin channels, telling the reactor to just skip it entirely... BUT that is a mistake, trust me! Many hate it because it feels somewhat disjointed from what is going on in the main story. But it does play a key role in character development & moving forward that particular character's narrative. That is all I will divulge right now - no spoilers! FYI this show follows a pattern of how many chapters there are per season. Season one - 8 chapters Season two - 9 chapters Season three - 8 chapters Season four - 9 chapters (the last two have long run times, like a full length movie) Season five - 8 chapters (possibly, might change)
@grace19005 Жыл бұрын
I feel like not telling them about the reputation of the next episode is much better just so they don't have any expectations from it. Telling them that fans hate it would make them watch it carefully as they would try to think why fans dislike it while not telling them anything about it doesn't influence their view of it at all.
@nancyberry1039 Жыл бұрын
@@grace19005 You are entitled to feel as you see fit, but keep in mind, I'm not the only one to give them that head's up. Regardless if I or anyone else tells them that many fans hate (or love) it, you should give Cody & Bridget some credit. I'm sure they both are mature & intelligent enough to go into it with open minds without any preconceptions & expectations. And at the end of it all, make their own decisions as to whether or not they agree with the naysayers or actually enjoyed it like many of us did when we saw it. I also had heard a lot of backlash about chapter 7, but it didn't make me " watch it carefully as they would try to think why fans dislike it" Huh?!?! I don't know about you, but most folks won't rely on other's "personal opinions" so heavily to the point where it influences HOW they watch or even skip it all together, because they realize that it is all subjective. 🙃

Rewatching bcs I LOVE you guys’ reactions to this season, but I was just thinking: when will was apologizing for leading the team into the pit and we found out it was a trap, I remembered that he is in a hive mind with not only the mindflayer, but also the demodogs too…meaning he probably saw all those people down there being eaten..

Yeah honestly the dynamic between Nancy and Jonathan is just missing something. I personally think that something is Steve. And vice versa. The three of them together make a great team, and make up for anything lacking between any two of them (I also think Steve x Jonathan is lacking Nancy). They all have two hands! I know a netflix show won't go that route but in my heart it is canon ;-;

This episode was intense. The next episode, however, in all honesty, is probably the most polarizing episode of the ENTIRE series. Some people like it, a lot dont like it. I am of the opinion although it was decent, it was more a filler episode. And until there is a payoff to this episode, it will be just that, a filler episode.
@vilmavanninen6950 Жыл бұрын
It focuses on the MAIN CHARACTER. How is that "filler"?
@ShortThe1st Жыл бұрын
I never understood how that episode was controversial at the least, it's basically a whole character/training arc for 11, which mind you kinda pays off at the end of the season.
@RyansChannel0203 Жыл бұрын
But there was a payoff…
@SpectreNUT Жыл бұрын
All i can say for now, cause we have to assume Bridgeco has NOT seen the next episode yet, is that this episode placement was right in between the Demogorgons coming up from the hole, and what happened afterwards. It broke off the fluidity of the action going on at the lab. It was almost like an attempt at a possible spinoff series with the introduction of a certain group. As far as a TRUE payoff... I wont say anything else just yet until AFTER Bridgeco has posted the next episode.
@SpectreNUT Жыл бұрын

@@fakecubed IMO, I do not think so.
