In this video, I explore growing up as a Jamaican immigrant in America and navigating the complex identity of feeling "too black for the white kids, too white for the black kids." I reflect on how language, culture, and the pressure to assimilate shaped my experience. From being called an “oreo” to confronting the contradictions in the music of Odd Future, I share my thoughts on how these moments have shaped my view of race, language, and identity.
