He was just one of the local names you knew growing up here in Glasgow. He was a bit more liked I think due to natue/audacity of his robberies as opposed to usual drug criminals. admit quite a good talker I watch out to listen to him now quite entertaining. Nobody in London believes Danny Dyer is a hard man he's just getting a few quid playing himself. Ive got family up there and they all say he was up there with the top of the pile back in the 80s early 90s but he's starting to make himself a bit of a laughing stock now with people who know him because they know whatever it is he's describing it was nothing remotely like what really happened and as he's got older they started getting themselves caught over the stupidest of things.
