Not according to the court verdict I think. But in any case, that's not the reason no one should be upset about the Derek Chauvin bar. It wasn't defending or condemning what Chauvin did, nor defending or judging George Floyd. It was simply a simile used to paint a picture of the pressure and force Samson is applying to be the next big thing. The pressure is the only aspect of that incident Samson was referencing. It'd be no different than had he instead referenced an hydraulic press.
