Hey wasup bro,happy new years. How hard you suppose to press that hook? I had tried but nothing happen, no click or nothing,it wont moved. Unles someone like the prior owner did it already and thats why its not moving no more.

I was going to do a complete clutch, this weekend. Thanks, for saving me the time! I had to pull up on my pedal, push the tab, push the clutch a little, pull it up, push the tab, and then it clicked. I was pushing the tab pretty hard, at first... and it wouldn't click.

4:43 when you showed the after, I hear a ticking noise, is that an exhaust leak or the throwout bearing? I assume you fixed the throwout bearing noise but you might have had an exhaust leak.

Hey buddy i just bought my 04 mach 1 last month i did the gas pedal zip tie mod and wow!! I had this same noise on mines and just did this trick and good to go. Thanks buddy for the time you take to help others!

Does this work for 02 gt?
@ProSwag17 сағат бұрын
First of all thank you my man still have a slight TOB noise because I think it has already been worn down from a misadjusted clutch for so long. Pedal on my 03 mach 1 feels much less spongy and engages right at the top. Also my clutch pedal has always had a squeak when I press it even with the car off so I’m guessing that TOB is done either way lol
@yn_lawson51712 жыл бұрын
Is this only on Mach 1 or on gt too?
@ThePsvan Жыл бұрын
Brilliant, I forgot about that. Mine's still a little chirpy but way better, and shifts easier. I had to grab the pedal and the quadrant to get it to move one notch. My manual says to pull up on the clutch pedal but that wasn't enough to get it to click. Also a little oil poured into the cable at the top works wonders if you need it. (You have to disconnect the cable to oil it.) And making sure the cable is routed through the guide loop/hook near the motor mount.

so my car used to do a cricket sound when the clutch wasn't engaged, I thought it was the trow out bearing but it squeezed because it had no grease where the clutch fork and pivot bearing connected,only $5
@Ozomeroman7 жыл бұрын
The sound is so annoying, luckily the fix is so cheap and easy to do. In my case, adjusting the clutch was all it needed and didn't have to grease anything haha.

To reset quadrant place top of foot under clutch pladdle n lift up if quadrant is sat it will click then clutch will catch rite off floor also takes pressure off throw out bearing for oiling then I use hammer handle that is rubberized to press quadrant need to press quadrant n lift up on clutch paddle it will go click to many clicks will make clutch slip reset start over one click at a time try it if not one more click ??

Mine makes this ticking noise ugh. I'm definitely going to mess with this. I've broken two cables and now this third one seems fine but now it's making that sound. I also think they stretch over time and they may just need snugged up a bit. I make a point to snug it up evey oil change if i can remember and also take it off alnd lubricate it. You can pull back on the clutch fork a little and tighten the nuts to make it slightly tighter. I also saw a guy put a spring over the cable to keep the fork pushed back? Just some fiddling around with the tension is all it needs. Got it.
