Is this car really worth buying now we almost booked this car should we wait for facelift or lift current model at discount?
@OntheRoadPOV6 сағат бұрын
The Gloster facelift is definitely worth the wait, especially if you're looking for the latest updates and features. There's a strong chance it might be launched before March this year. However, if you're getting a great discount on the current model and you're happy with its features, that's worth considering too. It really depends on your priorities-both options are good!

Your driving is impressive! My high-speed driving skills are quite similar-smooth, though I usually cruise at 140-150 km/h. When I was in the India, I maintained a similar style.

I believe the expressway should have a speed limit of 120 km/h for the rightmost lane, at least. It would strike a good balance between safety and efficiency for drivers who prefer a faster, smoother ride.
@NoobDaGamer-19473 күн бұрын
Hi. Please drive carefully on this expressway because the speed limit is only 100 kmph, and if you exceed the speed limit, you will be fined immediately. If your speed is above 130 kmph, an FIR will be filed against you immediately. There are AI speed cameras that work on the basis of point-to-point detection.

@@OntheRoadPOV no but in my opinion rather than limiting the speed authorities should enforce lane discipline, regular vehicle checkups, heavy fine while car break in between the road etc more crashes can be avoided thereby , if only speed is the culprit than there would not be Germany's autobahn like roads

Heard mileage is a nightmare on this car, from numerous owners. How much truth is there?
@OntheRoadPOV3 күн бұрын
Bro, i'm using this car since 2022. Its been my daily drive for long commute since then. I'm getting mileage of 13 - 15.5 in highway drive. In city, it drops to 10 Km. Also in turns and twisted road like village, i get around 8-9 depends on my drive style. So with everything average i get around 12 -13 KM mileage. To be honest, i never regreted my decision to get this car. This is one of yhe best decision i have taken in my life. I test driven many car before taking the decision to buy this. I tested Fortuner, Thar and more. Design and feature wise i found this car to be one hell of a drive.

Driving over 30 kmph over the speed limit, no lane discipline, not maintaining CAS while passing vehicles.... I don't endorse such driving and it's nothing to be proud of. You're putting the lives of you and others on the road at risk.
@OntheRoadPOV20 сағат бұрын
Thank you for your concern. I appreciate your feedback and understand where you’re coming from. I was careful to maintain lane discipline and ensured that I passed vehicles safely. However, you’re right-I was over the speed limit at certain points, and I take full responsibility for that. I’ve already received a fine and consider it a reminder to stay more mindful on the road. Safety is always important, and I’ll make sure to improve moving forward.

Why did you buy mg gloster instead of fortuner
@india_travelgram_3 күн бұрын
Because: 1. Fortuner is highly overpriced and overrated. It only suits a MLA or MP because people in villages associate Fortuner with power. 2. MG Gloster is far more feature rich than a Fortuner. Mahindra Alturas, Ford Endeavour are also much more feature rich compared to Fortuner. 3. Gloster is bigger, wider, more premium compared to Fortuner. 4. Delhi CM moves on MG Gloster. 5. MG is an Indian brand now, they have factory in Halol, Gujrat. And Jindal groups owns maximum shares in MG motors. 6. MG cars are global cars, which means you get safer car, quality car which is globally selling. 7. They source few of their parts from China, but rest of the brands do the same. Why hate only MG for that? With current discounts on MG Gloster, it is cheaper than Fortuner by many lakhs. If you are considering Fortuner, do checkout Gloster.
@OntheRoadPOV3 күн бұрын
I chose the MG Gloster over the Fortuner after carefully considering my needs and preferences. While the Fortuner is undoubtedly a reliable SUV, the Gloster offered features and comfort that better suited my long commutes and road trips. The MG Gloster's cabin feels more luxurious, with advanced tech features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and a spacious interior that enhances the overall driving experience. Additionally, the panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and refined ride quality made it feel more premium compared to the Fortuner. Performance-wise, the Gloster’s diesel engine delivers smooth and powerful performance, especially on highways, where I also get good mileage. Plus, its value-for-money proposition, with all the features packed in at a competitive price, sealed the deal for me. Ultimately, I wanted a feature-rich, comfortable SUV for both city commutes and long-distance travel, and the MG Gloster checked all those boxes perfectly.

@@HyperDivison True, the Gloster is a more sensible choice. I also have a friend who owns an XUV 700, but he kind of regrets his choice-not exactly sure why. As for me, I’ve never once regretted my decision to go with the MG Gloster. It’s been the perfect fit for my needs!

If you cover distance between cameras at more than 100kmph speed, AI camers will impose fine, not trying to fool camera, by slowing down at cameras. Any fool can drive fast.
@OntheRoadPOV2 күн бұрын
I understand that, but I didn’t realize the speed camera was active. I had driven on this road a few months back, and at that time, it wasn’t operational.
