I would love to know what our guys work on in practice since we don’t actually run an offense. Do they just play street ball all practice and expect that to translate to the game?

They probably spend a bunch of time on their player introductions routines for before games, and of course they have to make sure to spend time comparing NIL deals.

Don't you all live in Kansas City? None of you went to the game? That's so ridiculous! Do better, 3MAW. -RonP

They did fight back, but then had some insanely bad possessions late in the game after taking a lead. Also getting crushed on the boards by Drake is absolutely inexcusable.

It isn't only anonymous X users with burner accounts that say unhinged things. Jerome Tang is good for a couple unhinged comments or moments every year too and we all know who he is. Some people are just unhinged. Jerome Tang is one of those people.

Frontline of DG and CH that’s not even close enough to compete where the heck is the depth up front seems like these 2 played the entire game

It made me sick hearing what Coleman had to say. Sometimes I think some of those individuals that go out of their way to attack or have ill wishes upon others aren’t living good lives themselves, and they just project their negativity and toxicity upon others when things aren’t going their way. I wanna feel sad for them but I just can’t. Those individuals in my eyes are no longer K-State fans. They are just sad trolls that need to find their way.

Individuals pretending to be K-State fans on social media can actually be fans of other schools trying to cause problems.

go with your hot hand. Hausen was the focus of Drake Defense. They were not letting him get comfortable. They were overjoyed that we kept going to Hausen with the same old perimeter screen. come on man, try something different. break out the chalk. Drake had a cool play where the movement was not the wanker-weave, but they were moving vertically outside the lane. they were doing a better job of floor spacing so that each player had room to move. You can get screen happy where you are screening to initiate everything. because the movement was different , they caught us flat-footed on their sharpshooter. as you said, when our defense went into denying the studs the ball, it was effective. Jackson was dribbling in circles with no option other than a wild shot. The cats could have blown this game open, but they fell back into the tactics that Drake was begging for - bad passes.

I went into a lot of detail on this on Drew & Mason's video, because I watched it first. They didn't have as good an insight on this game. Gils either. You have to build on the success which was the middle of the game where they dominated. they got away form that and slipped into old habits and things that weren't working, like trying to get Hausen involved. Plus, Coleman gave 150% out there. you could say he might not be in full-game shape. whtever the reason, he was dog tired when he missed those throws. They need a third big to give him some rest. sad that it's this late in the season when the 8,9,10 roles are not defined. That absolutedly MUST BE Mobi, Baye, and Buddy, in any order. That could be a devastating trio once they get integrated into the rotation. why are we seeing that as a hot rod laying in parts on the garage floor. It's the Solstice already. For decades, KSU could not even pray to get athletes like that, and when they did get one, they would sit on the bench for 3 years. One thing KU has always been better at is bringing in the New Kid for 2, 3, 5 minutes at a time, with the starters, to get them acclimated gradualy, without pressure, without bunching them all on the floor together like blindfolded old farts playing croquet.

Free throws absolutely lost Kansas state this game. I believe they were under 50% as a team and missed 9 free throws. Am I wrong?

I’m starting to believe it comes from coaching. I’m tired of excuses and lack of fight. Instead of being so defensive, why not spend the energy on kicking the opponents ass? I don’t get it.

Look, it’s not the fault of fans who see this shit product on the court. It would be different if the effort were evident in coaching and playing. I don’t see it. Personally this looks awful. I’d much rather have less “dudes with attitudes” and more “dudes that give a damn”.
